Drake, Billie Eilish and More to Headline Lollapalooza Chile, Argentina and Brasil 2023
Lollapalooza has unveiled a stacked lineup for its 2023 festivals in Chile, Argentina and Brazil. with the likes of Drake, Billie Eilish, Lil Nas X, Tame Impala, Rosalía and the newly-reunited blink-182 headlining. The Chile and Argentina editions are both set to take place on March 17 to March 19, 2023 at Parque Bicentenario de Cerrillos and Hippodromo de San Isidro in Buenos Aires, respectively, while the Brasil festival will take place on March 24 to March 26, 2023 at Autódromo de Interlagos in São Paulo. Also joining the six headliners are the likes of The 1975, Omar Apollo, Fred Again…, Danny Ocean, Dominic Fike and more. Consequence adds that the festivals will mark Eilish and blink-182’s first South American performances, as well as The Boy’s first shows in Argentina and Chile....

After officially dropping “Poland” on streaming platforms, Lil Yachty has now returned to deliver a music video for his viral hit. Appearing out of nowhere, the track has taken over social media thanks to the rapper’s unique yet infectious hook. The viral nature of the release was also built on with the track artwork that builds on the now infamous trick to Poland. Despite having a brief 1:23 run time, Lil Yachty was able to put together a playful and evocative visual for the f1lthy produced track. While Pusha T has vocally stated that he is more than open to doing a full Clipse reunion, he says that it will all depend on his brother, No Malice. SpringHill Company CEO Maverick Carter has announced that they will not air the episode of The Shop with the artist formerly known as Kanye West. In a statement made to Andscape, Carter explained that they decided to pull the episode after Ye “reiterate[d] more hate speech and extremely dangerous stereotypes” while filming. “Yesterday we taped an episode of The Shop with Kanye West. Kanye was booked weeks ago and, after talking to Kanye directly the day before we taped, I believed he was capable of a respectful discussion and he was ready to address all his recent comments. Fugees’ Pras Gets New Trial Date in Criminal Conspiracy Case
Prakazrel Michel, aka Pras of the Fugees, is set to go on trial next year for criminal conspiracy and campaign finance charges; the trial is set to begin March 27, 2023. In 2019, Michel was charged alongside Low Taek Jho (aka “Jho Low”), a Malaysian national who is still at large, and for whom Michel is accused of funneling money to political campaigns and making false statements in connection to the conspiracy. Comedians Eric André and Clayton English are suing Clayton County police following separate incidents of alleged racial profiling and coercive searches at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, reports AP. In the lawsuit filed by their lawyers in Atlanta’s federal court, both comedians claim their constitutional rights that protect against unreasonable searches and seizures and against racial discrimination were violated last year while they were boarding their respective flights.
