Björk Parties at a Mushroom Rave in Video for New Song “Atopos”: Watch

Björk has shared the lead single from her forthcoming album, Fossora. Directed by Viðar Logi, the “Atopos” video takes place in a fungal underworld, where a masked Björk, a bass clarinet sextet, and Gabber Modus Operandi’s DJ Kasimyn gear up for a rave showdown. Watch it happen below. Björk wrote on Twitter yesterday that the track is “kinda like Fossora’s passport.” The album, out September 30, was partly inspired by the pandemic experience and lockdown raves. Its title is a word that Björk made up—the feminine of “fossore,” which means “digger, delver, ditcher,” as she put it in press materials. Fossora is the follow-up to 2017’s Utopia. Björk recently launched a podcast called Björk: Sonic Symbolism. The first three episodes document Debut, Post, and Homogenic. Check out “Revisiting Bjö...

Now You Can Watch Maneskin’s Cheeky 2022 MTV VMAs Performance in a ‘Restored,’ Less-Censored Edit

When you watched the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards back on Aug. 28, were you wondering why the cameraman decided to use so many wide shots during Måneskin‘s performance of “Supermodel”? A lot of fans assumed it was because of frontman Damiano David’s barely there black leather chaps that exposed his backside — and that might have been part of it, but there was another, even racier outfit in the band. Method Man took to Instagram Live to clear the air regarding his absence from Nas and Wu-Tang Clan‘s ongoing “NY State of Mind” tour. The rapper frustratingly had to explain that he couldn’t join the tour as he’s currently in the middle of filming a movie and not because of any bad blood between him and anyone else in the Wu-Tang Clan. “I f*cking love Wu-Tang, wish I could have been on that tour with them,” Method Man said. “The booking came at a bad time – I was already booked to do a movie. Only reason why I’m coming back saying this is because of my love for my fans, okay. The real fans. Not the ones that’d jump in your DMs and curse you the f*ck out all call you all kinds of bitches.” He continued to praise his friends on tour and explained that they all have jobs they need to pursue i...

Robbie Williams: Instead of Speaking, Damon Albarn Should “Remove a Few Ribs and Give Himself a Nosh”

Let it be known that Robbie Williams stands with Taylor Swift. The former Take That singer has slammed “twat” Damon Albarn for falsely claiming that Swift “doesn’t write her own songs” back in January. “I think that when people say [other musicians don’t write their own songs], what they’re actually doing is having a wank about themselves,” Williams said in a new feature with NME. “It’s true! You know, it’s like, why don’t you cut the middle man out — just get a few ribs removed and give yourself a nosh, you twat!” The pop star went on: “Because all you’re doing is going, ‘Hey, I’m fucking amazing!’ Nothing good comes from it in any way, other than it’s a sort of dopamine hit for themselves, going, ‘Do you know – I’m a real one.’ OK. Good for you. Fuck off.” Advertisement Related Vide...
