This September, Krautrock pioneers NEU! are celebrating the 50th anniversary of their self-titled debut album with the NEU! 50! box set, which includes a tribute album comprising covers and remixes by an impressive list of artist. One of those names is The National, who have today shared their remix of NEU!’s “Im Glück.” The original version of “Im Glück” appeared on NEU! in 1972, and it’s a nearly-seven-minute drone track that doesn’t share much in common with The National’s typical indie rock. Dave Leads 2022 GRM Rated Awards Nominations: Full List
Dave is the leading contender for the 2022 GRM Rated Awards, which focuses on the U.K. rap and grime scene. The rapper received six nominations, including two each for both track of the year and video of the year. Dave’s “Clash” (featuring Stormzy) is nominated in both categories. Dave’s other track of the year nominee is “Starlight,” which topped the Official U.K. Singles Chart for four weeks in March and April. Sean “Diddy” Combs and Dr. Dre were recently seen in the studio together as they get their collaboration ready for Dre’s upcoming album. The highly-anticipated record is being created with Snoop Dogg, who was also at the studio with Diddy and Dre.
