Sun Ra Arkestra have announced a new album called Living Sky. The follow-up to their 2021 Grammy-nominated LP Swirling arrives October 7 via Omni Sound. Waxahatchee and Kevin Morby have released covers of the Broadcast song “Tears in the Typing Pool” and Guided by Voices’ “The Goldheart Mountaintop Queen Directory.” The two songs are being released to support the Vote No Kansas PAC, which is attempting to stop the passage of the “Value Them Both” amendment. Beyoncé has revealed the tracklist for her new album Renaissance, which is out on July 29. In addition to the single “Break My Soul,” the 16-song album includes songs called “America Has a Problem,” “Alien Superstar,” and “Thique.” Along with the song titles, the Renaissance composer credits have been revealed, as the @BeyLegion fan account notes. The credits are adapted from the Apple Music page for Renaissance and do not represent the full scope of album contributors. Credited composers include Jay-Z (aka S. Restraining Order Against Ricky Martin Dismissed After Accuser Withdraws Request
A judge has dismissed a temporary restraining order against Ricky Martin after his accuser reportedly withdrew the request. Martin’s accuser, identified as the singer’s 21-year-old nephew Dennis Yadiel Sanchez, was initially granted the restraining order on July 2nd. Sanchez claimed that he and Martin had been in a seven-month romantic relationship. Martin allegedly refused to accept their breakup and was found loitering outside of Sanchez’s home on three different occasions. Sanchez also accused Martin of physical and psychological abuse.
