GH talented singer King Promise unveils his new album titled – “5 Star”. Here is another new album entry for the week from King Promise titled “5 Star“, a project with all-in-one music flavor. King Promise made his debut with an impressive album in 2019 titled “As Promised”, later dropped an EP “Love & Happiness” In 2020, and moving on progressively he has released another brilliant LP that features Omah Lay, Vic Mensa, Chance The Rapper, Headie One, WSTRN, Frenna, Patoranking, and Bisa Kdei. Joey Bada$$ has released the tracklist for his upcoming LP, 2000. Scheduled to hit streaming services on Friday via Pro Era and Cinematic, the project is a sequel to the rapper’s 1999 debut mixtape, which he dropped over a decade ago in 2012 at the age of seventeen. 2000 will span 14-tracks, opening up with “The Baddest” featuring Diddy. There’s also the previously released single “Where I Belong” slated third on the tracklist, which arrived with a music video late last month. Westside Gunn will appear as a guest artist on the fourth song, “Brand New 911,” and Larry June will appear on the eighth, “One Of Us.” Additional features include singer Capella Grey and Spillage Village rapper J.I.D. Chance the Rapper and Vic Mensa are teaming up to organize a music festival in West Africa called the Black Star Line Festival. The event is scheduled to take place on January 6, 2023 in Accra, the capital and largest city of Ghana, in its historic Black Star Square. Like its location, Black Star Line Festival is named after a shipping company founded by political activist and journalist Marcus Garvey, which connected Africa’s global economy. “Founded in 1919, and operated by Black people, the [Black Star Line] would link America, the Caribbean and Africa, to global shipping and tourism opportunities,” the festival press release explains. “The Black Star Line was a symbol of pride, not only for Africans, but also for Black people in all ports of call.” The Black Star is also displayed on t...
