Archers of Loaf have announced their first studio album in 24 years. Reason in Decline arrives October 21 via Merge. Eric Bachmann, Eric Johnson, Matt Gentling, and Mark Price have also announced a tour behind the new album, which marks the first new full-length from the band since 1998’s White Trash Heroes. Panda Bear has announced a new album with Spacemen 3’s Sonic Boom. Reset arrives August 12, and its Troggs-sampling single “Go On” is out now. Watch James Siewert’s video below. The longtime partnership between Panda Bear and Sonic Boom, whose real name is Peter Kember, dates back to Panda Bear’s 2011 album Tomboy. Before that, Panda Bear had thanked Spacemen 3 in the liner notes to his breakout album Person Pitch. A dollar from each CD and LP sale goes to Earthisland.org, an environmental nonprofit. Bob Dylan has announced another leg of his ongoing tour behind Rough and Rowdy Ways. His next run of dates will kick off September 25 in Oslo, and then wind through Stockholm, Copenhagen, Paris, Amsterdam, London, and more, before wrapping up in Glasgow on October 31. The waterworks were cranking Tuesday night (July 12) when Wyn Starks auditioned on America’s Got Talent. The Nashville-based, Minnesota native shrugged off nerves before tugging at everyone’s heartstring. Starks performed an original song, “Who I Am,” a tale about his personal journey. It was also a favorite song of his twin brother, he told the room. Sadly, his twin passed away. “It’s been really hard, and he was one of my biggest supporters,” he said, holding back tears. Starks lost his job in hospitality due to the pandemic, so to hit the AGT stage “means everything to me,” Starks explained. “I’m doing this for him.
