King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard Announce New Album, Share 18-Minute Single “The Dripping Tap”: Stream

As has been said many times before, King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard are coming out with a new album. The Australian rockers are gearing up to share Omnium Gatherum, their first double LP and — if we have our math right here — their 20th album overall. As a preview, King Gizzard have shared the whopping 18-minute single “The Dripping Tap.” After releasing three albums during lockdown that were written and recorded entirely remotely, Omnium Gatherum marks some of the first music K.G. were able to record in the same space post-pandemic. The result is some of the most ambitious music they’ve ever put to tape: “We decided, this is like our classic sprawling ‘double album,’” frontman Stu Mackenzie said in a statement. “Our White Album, where anything goes.” “The Dripping ...

Kanye West Unveils Striking CGI Music Video for “Hurricane”

Today, Ye released the music video for “Hurricane,” from his tenth studio album DONDA. In line with Ye’s caliber of creative visuals, the video for the GRAMMY-nominated song that features The Weeknd and Lil Baby is entirely CGI. The video opens with a striking image of a beach-adjacent prison and a beam of light extending towards the sky, which are all being held up by a silver dragon. As The Weeknd sings, “Finally free, found the God in me/And I want you to see, I can walk on water/Thousand miles from shore, I can float on the water/Father, hold me close, don’t let me drown,” inmates dressed in monochromatic YEEZY clothing flee the prison towards the beach. Devil Master Announce New Album, Unveil Video for “Acid Black Mass”: Stream

Devil Master have announced their eagerly anticipated sophomore album, Ecstasies of Never Ending Night. Ahead of the April 29th release date, the Philadelphia-based band has shared the video for lead single “Acid Black Mass.” The new album sees Devil Master exploring a more mystical and darkly numinous path in lieu of the self-described “childish Satanism” of their debut album. This is best exemplified in the album art for Ecstasies, which depicts an enchanting fantasy-scape. That doesn’t mean the band has dropped its core black metal and punk rock influences. Devil Master once again tap into the infernal majesty of Celtic Frost and raw street punk of GISM on “Acid Black Mass,” though the overall arrangement and playing is tighter and more atmospheric.
