Billie Eilish is Disney’s new princess! Well, for a second, at least. A new teaser trailer dropped Wednesday (August 4) for Happier Than Ever: A Love Letter to Los Angeles, a live concert special promoting songs from her newest album that is set to premiere on Disney+ on September 3. The 30-second trailer introduces the hit single “Happier Than Ever” playing in the background as the camera zooms towards a relaxed Eilish laying on a swivel chair. As the camera gets closer, Eilish swings slowly to the side and magically transforms into an animated Disney character for a mere second. The trailer then shows Eilish’s band and an orchestra playing as she dances to the hard electric guitar solo of the song. Directed by Robert Rodriguez and Patrick Osborne, A Love Letter to Los Angeles will pay ho...

Night Shyamalan almost directed a Blink-182 music video, and of course, dick jokes. “Why do you think that you and I can go five years without talking and then just get on the phone and pick up like nothing ever happened?” Hoppus asked. “Because we appreciate dick jokes in a way that no one else does,” DeLonge replied. “It boils down to only that, there is nothing else.” Hoppus agreed. “I think so, because the first time that we met, I think it was dick jokes from the beginning in your garage.” “Yeah,” his old friend said. “It’s a dialogue. It’s a language.” Advertisement Related Video Later, Hoppus recalled bei...

Chris Cornell’s Final Portraits to Be Auctioned as NFTs

Images from Chris Cornell’s last photoshoot are set to be minted and auctioned off as a pair of non-fungible tokens (NFTs). The portraits were taken by Randall Slavin just before the Soundgarden frontman’s untimely passing in 2017. Instead of publishing them, the photographer has held onto the photos until now, and is only turning them into NFTs with the permission of the late rocker’s wife, Vicky Cornell. Titled “Until We Disappear” and “White Roses for My Soul to Keep,” the two cryptographs are slated to be auctioned off tomorrow (August 5th) at 12:00 p.m. ET. “Disappear” is a moving image of Cornell against a background of clouds, while “My Soul” is a video flip-book of every frame Slavin shot of the singer during the shoot. You can check out previews of both, as well as a trailer for t...

Mabel Wears a Sultry Mugler Catsuit For a Special Performance at the Love Island Villa

Swedish-English singer Mabel confirmed her It girl status at the 2021 Love Island villa by wearing a sultry Mugler catsuit during her special performance. Following her win for Best Female Solo Artist at the 2020 BRIT Awards, it’s only fitting that the High Expectations singer wore the most sought-after designer of the summer for her Love Island debut. It’s no secret that Mugler’s fetishistic designs are in the midst of a renaissance. It all started when Cardi B wore the iconic Oyster dress from the brand’s autumn/winter 1995 collection to the 2019 Grammys, and then Kim Kardashian wore an archival Mugler wet-look dress to the 2019 Met Gala a few months later. The illusion catsuit worn by Mabel on Love Island looks to be from Mugler’s spring/summer 2021 collect...

To me, that was a turning point [for me] as a musician.” Advertisement Related Video Sarzo first joined Quiet Riot in 1978, and played on the band’s influential 1983 album Metal Health. Guns N’ Roses Perform New Version of Rare Song “Silkworms”: Watch

Guns N’ Roses surprised fans with a rare performance of the Chinese Democracy-era cut “Silkworms” during their performance at Fenway Park on Tuesday night. Though Axl Rose introduced “Silkworms” as “a new Guns N’ Roses song,” its origins actually date back two decades. The song was first performed live way back in 2001, and various versions have since leaked online. Tuesday night’s setlist referred to the song as “Absurd,” but its chorus clearly pulls from “Silkworms.” Guns N’ Roses are known to be working on a new album, their first featuring Axl Rose alongside Slash and Duff McKagan since 1991’s Use Your Illusion I and Use Your Illusion II. Whether or not “Silkworms”/”Absurd” finds its way on to the album’s final tracklist remains to be seen. Advertisement Related Video In the ...
