Volbeat Announce Fall 2021 US Headlining Tour
Danish rockers Volbeat have announced a brief run of U.S. tour dates for this September and October, with various support from Twin Temple, Municipal Waste and The Hu on select dates. The newly announced shows mark the band’s first headlining stateside performances in nearly two years. Volbeat’s fall jaunt will kick off September 24th at Tabernacle in Atlanta and run through an October 10th show at The Fox Theater in Oakland, California. The headlining tour dates bridge the gap between Volbeat’s previously scheduled appearances at two festivals: Rebel Rock on September 23rd in Orlando, Florida, and Aftershock on October 8th in Sacramento, California. Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett are reuniting for two nights only at Radio City Music Hall, which will apparently serve as Bennett’s final concerts in New York City. “One Last Time: An Evening With Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga” will open on August 3rd, Bennett’s 95th (!) birthday, with a second performance scheduled for August 5th. The shows are meant to be Bennett’s final concerts in the Big Apple, according to a press release. To attend, fans must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and provide proof upon entry of having received their final dose no later than 14 days before their event date. Circle Jerks Announce 2021-2022 North American Headlining Tour
Circle Jerks have once again rescheduled their North American 40th anniversary tour. The hardcore-punk legends’ updated itinerary features a series of separate legs that run from September of this year through May of next year, with Municipal Waste, Adolescents, and Negative Approach providing support on select dates. Originally, Circle Jerks had planned to tour in celebration of the 40th anniversary of their landmark debut album, Group Sex, beginning in May of 2020. Those dates were postponed to spring of 2021 due to the pandemic, but were since delayed again. Now, the legendary band plans to hit the road for a few dates in early September (including appearances at Riot Fest and Punk Rock Bowling), before playing three shows in the Southwest in late October. Eddie Vedder‘s fifth annual music extravaganza Ohana Festival can’t be contained in just one weekend. In addition to the previously announced event scheduled for September 24th-26th, the Pearl Jam frontman has just announced Ohana Encore, a bonus festival that will return to Doheny State Beach in Dana Point, California for October 1st-2nd. Due to overwhelming demand, the encore weekend will of course include headlining sets by Pearl Jam on both Friday and Saturday nights.
