Drake has officially filed a legal petition against Universal Music Group (UMG) and Spotify over accusations of illegally boosting "Not Like Us," Kendrick Lamar's diss track aimed at the OVO head.Billboard reports that Drizzy's Frozen Moments LLC filed in Manhattan court on November 25, claiming that UMG violated the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act, utilized bots, payola and other illegal tactics, participated in "deceptive business practices" and used false advertising under New York state law. Drake recently joined gaming streamer xQc this weekend and revealed that he will be going on tour in early 2025.Announcing the Anita Max Wynn Tour on the livestream, the Canadian rapper revealed that he'll be kicking off the set of performances down under. Planning to remain in Australia for at least a month, Drake said that the tour will begin February 9 and run through till early March. He shared, "February 9th for anybody that’s watching from Australia, I’m coming back to Australia for the first time in eight years. Coming back to Australia on tour. Deyra Barrera, the mariachi singer who appeared on Kendrick Lamar's GNX, has shared the story of how she ended up collaborating with the artist for three songs on his surprise album.Speaking to Rolling Stone, the singer explained that it began a few weeks ago when she was asked by the Los Angeles Dodgers to perform a tribute for the late pitcher Fernando Valenzuela during the first game of the World Series. “I was in tears, singing for my friend who died, at a packed stadium,” Barrera, who performed “El Corrido de Fernando Valenzuela” and a medley for her longtime friend, said. “And, El señor Lamar was there. Just a few days after dropping his surprise album GNX, Kendrick Lamar has released the video for track number two, "squabble up"–a bouncy production sampling Debbie Deb where all Kendrick's dynamic inflections get their deserved airtime. The action-packed video treatment comes from Calmatic, a regular creative partner of the Compton-born rapper.The full duration of the video occupies a mysterious green room with a lone crystal chandelier hanging from the ceiling.
