Ye and Ty Dolla $ign’s ‘VULTURES 2’ to Release This Week
Update: ¥$, the duo of Ye and Ty Dolla $ign, dropped VULTURES back in February as the first album of a trilogy from the two. While VULTURES 2 and 3 were originally scheduled to drop in March and April respectively, various delays have left both projects unreleased. However, according to an update on the YEEZY website, VULTURES 2 is now set to arrive on August 2, ahead of the duo's listening events in South Korea and Taiwan. Previously, Ye was contemplating releasing VULTURES 2 for $20 USD as an exclusive to the YEEZY website, leaving it off of streaming platforms initially. After ensuring it would drop sometime this week, JPEGMAFIA has unleashed his latest LP. Entitled I LAY DOWN MY LIFE FOR YOU, the rapper has unveiled the long-awaited album in full, which comes equipped with contributions from Vince Staples, Denzel Curry, and Steven Spielberg’s daughter Buzzy Lee.Singles "don't rely on other men" and "SIN MIEDO" prefaced the experimental 14-track delivery, with other titles including the lead track "i scream this in the mirror before i interact with anyone," "its dark and hell is hot," "vulgar display of power" and "either on or off the drugs."
