It’s a great opportunity to enjoy Ísadóra’s voice  — less ethereal than her mother’s, and with a rooted, earthy tone. Check out “bergmál” below. The song appears on Post-Dreifing’s January 20th album, Drullumall # 4, a 14-track collaboration t...

Metallica Unleash New Song “Screaming Suicide”: Stream

Metallica have unveiled the new song “Screaming Suicide,” the second single from the legendary metal band’s forthcoming album, 72 Seasons, out April 14th. “Screaming Suicide” follows lead single “Lux Æterna,” which the band debuted in late November upon the announcement of 72 Seasons. Frontman James Hetfield says of the new song, “‘Screaming Suicide’ addresses the taboo word of suicide. The intention is to communicate about the darkness we feel inside. It’s ridiculous to think we should deny that we have these thoughts. At one point or another, I believe most people have thought about it. To face it is to speak the unspoken. If it’s a human experience, we should be able to talk about it. You are not alone.” Advertisement Related Video The thrashy tune is accompanied by a performance music ...

As the new Rock and Roll Hall of Famer explains in the song’s intro, the idea came to her in a dream, while many of the lyrics sound like something your mom and dad might have yelled down the stairs. “Don’t make me have to come down there,” she sings, “My children you had best beware/ Clean up this mess and put on something decent to wear/ Don’t make me have to come down there.” She also threatens to “take my Bible belt and whip you into shape,” and warns, “You know I put you in this world and I can take you out....

Austin electronic artist Bayonne has announced his third studio album, Temporary Time. The LP is out May 26th via Nettwerk, and along with the news, he’s shared first single “Right Thing.” “To me the overall narrative of Temporary Time is the events following my Dad’s cancer diagnosis in early 2019,” Bayonne said in a statement. “The record explores the emotional journey we went through as a family coming to terms with his declining health. Not every song covers this, but that presentiment is lingering in the back of my mind through it all.” Bayonne continued, “During much of the recording process, I was in a pretty deep state of depression, which is pronounced throughout some of the lyricism. I started focusing on my mental health and things eventually became much easier for me, but ...
