Regina Spektor Details 11:11 20th Anniversary Box Set, Shares Remastered “Love Affair”: Stream
Regina Spektor has set a release date for and detailed the upcoming 20th anniversary box set of her debut album 11:11. Out on August 26th, the self-released LP has long been unavailable in physical form since the singer-songwriter first dropped it back in July 2001. In addition to a remastered vinyl edition of 11:11 with its original tracklist, the reissue will include a collection of live performances of never-before-heard songs from the era recorded by Spektor’s father — aptly titled Papa’s Bootlegs. It may be Cancer season, but Steve Lacy has released his new album Gemini Rights via L-M Records/RCA Records. The studio effort — The Internet guitarist’s sophomore solo outing — arrives a little over three years after 2019’s Apollo XXI and contains singles “Mercury,” “Bad Habit,” and the Fousheé collab “Sunshine.” “Gemini Rights is essentially me coming into myself after a breakup,” the artist said in an interview with The Recording Academy a few days before the album’s release. “It’s a story that is very fluid [and] very fun. To me, the subject matter could be sad if you look at it that way, but I feel like it is way more hopeful — and that’s the story: finding happiness. Interpol are officially back. Today, the trio have unveiled their seventh studio album The Other Side of Make-Believe, via Matador Records. Take a listen below. Panda Bear, founding member of Animal Collective, and Sonic Boom, founding member of Spaceman 3, have announced the new collaborative album, Reset. It’s out August 12th, and as a preview, the experimental pop auteurs have shared lead single “Go On.” According to a statement, Bear and Boom (real names Noah Lennox and Peter Kember) met over MySpace in the mid-aughts, after the former thanked Spaceman 3 in the liner notes of his solo album, Person Pitch.
