Buckcherry frontman Josh Todd has made the most of his time during the pandemic. While speaking with SiriusXM host Eddie Trunk about Buckcherry’s recently released ninth studio album, Hellbound, Todd discussed the various activities he engaged in during lockdown. “I got into action. I’m not one that really sits around for too long. I never get on the pity potty. I just go, ‘Okay, what am I gonna do with this time? I’ve got all this time. Blade’s Stephen Dorff Slams Marvel Movies, Says Black Widow “Looks Like Garbage”

Marvel may be at the top of the food chain in terms of superhero cinema, but for one former star, they’re just cattle. Stephen Dorff, who played villain Deacon Frost in 1998’s Blade, has criticized the Marvel Cinematic Universe, in particular throwing shade at the upcoming Black Widow for looking “like a bad video game.” Speaking with the UK’s Independent about his new film, Embattled, Dorff was asked about what roles he looks for in modern Hollywood. The actor took that as a prompt to bash the company that elevated his career by making him the star of one of the first successful post-Batman comic book adaptations. “I still hunt out the good shit because I don’t want to be in Black Widow,” said Dorff, continuing, “It looks like garbage to me. It looks like a bad video g...

Uriah Heep Singer John Lawton Dies at 74

He joined Heep in 1976 in time to appear on their 10th studio album, 1976’s Firefly, replacing original lead singer David Byron, as well as 1977’s harder-edged Innocent Victim, which featured the easy-rockin’ AM-radio single “Free.” Lawton’s final studio recording with UH was 1978’s smoother Fallen Angel, followed by the Live in Europe ’79 concert album. Following his run in UH, Lawton continued to perform with other bands, including Rebel and GunHill (which later changed its name to the John Lawton Band) and former Heep producer/songwriter Ken Hensley in the Hensley Lawton Band. If England progress to the final, and go all the way – something the team has never done in the UEFA tournament – expect the single to keep scoring. If it does, it would give the track a fifth stint at No. 1, extending its national chart record. Morrissey Describes Pandemic as “Con-vid”, Likens Government Restrictions to Slavery

Morrissey’s big mouth has struck again: In a new interview conducted by his nephew Sam Esty Rayner, the outspoken singer referred to the pandemic as “Con-vid” and compared government-imposed restrictions as akin to slavery. His comments came as part of a lengthy interview designed to promote his upcoming album, Bonfire of Teenagers. But Morrissey and Rayner dedicated much of the interview to lamenting about the state of Britain during the pandemic. “The bigger problem is that nobody can any longer agree with anyone else, and this is the main outcome of Con-vid,” Morrissey commented. “It has brought the worst out in people, and we weren’t ever in this together. We are deprived of seeing and hearing other people, and above all, you want to be with others who see and hear what you see and hea...
