Lenny Kravitz presents a slightly psychedelic, cinematic music video for “Raise Vibration,” the title track to his 2018 LP. He sings on massive coastal rock formations in The Bahamas armed with mic, amp, guitar as mirror effects and inverted color filters psyche out the sights. Watch it below. [embedded content] About the video, Kravitz says, “This song is very special to me. It’s all about hope, banding together, and remaining fearless in the pursuit of your passion and purpose. Mark and I hold this message close to heart. We wanted to celebrate the beauty of the Bahamas in the video and try to capture the spirit of inspiration synonymous with the islands. It’s something I want to share once I get back on the road.” Kravitz expatriated to the Bahamas as soon as the pandemic descended and ...
It isn’t often the case that an automaker debuts a concept whose design faithfully transfers over to the production model. Wild wheels are downsized, seductive curves are straightened, and bold looks are generally watered down by safety regulations and manufacturing realities. The all-new 2022 Infiniti QX60 is the exception to that rule, debuting with styling that is nearly identical to the stunning Monograph concept Infiniti showed last year and way, way beyond its predecessor‘s humdrum visage. The newly redesigned luxury three-row SUV sports a more aggressive look and oozes more swagger with its elegant fender bulges, tightened up roofline, and wider stance. The bestselling three-row crossover from Infiniti has not only broken out of its shell with this new gen...
Gone in 60 seconds? More like gone in six hours. At least that’s how long we assume it took the thief (or thieves) to strip and gut the cabin of this new Subaru WRX STI. The above video (which, we should warn, includes a couple of F bombs) shows a red WRX STI missing its wheels, brakes, and the majority of its interior bits, including the front and rear seats. It’s a clean-looking gut job and one that certainly took a bit of time to complete. According to the blog Tire Meets Road, the incident occurred at Schomp Subaru in Aurora, Colorado, and a video of the vehicle’s torn-apart state was first uploaded to TikTok in mid-May of 2021. We reached out to Schomp Subaru for comment and will update this post when or if we hear back from a dealership spokesperson. Never...
Soulja Boy simply posted the four-year-old (Bow Wow tried to pass it off as happening six years ago) photos on Instagram without a caption, then said this on Twitter Monday: “It’s ok bow wow because of me u get to fly private for real for verzuz u don’t gotta cap no more wit the challenge and commercial spirit flights.” Despite the back-and-forth trolling, the artists have actually been friends for years. This week’s new music release took us on a journey outside planet Earth with a guaranteed guide if we got lost. Doja Cat invited her fans to Planet Her, her third studio album, and greeted them with a myriad of sounds, from heartfelt R&B ballads about being in love, like “You Right,” featuring The Weeknd, to hardcore bars about how men ain’t all that on “Ain’t Shit” and “Get Into It (Yuh).” On the new album, Doja raps, “Call him Ed Sheeran, he in love with my body” in reference to the English superstar’s 2017 smash “Shape of You.” But the English singer-songwriter came out with a new radio-friendly summer smash of his own, “Bad Habits,” in which he dwells on his nighttime vices ove...

HipHopWired Featured Video Source: Christopher Polk / Getty While Friday, June 25 marks the 25th anniversary of the release of Jay-Z’s classic debut Reasonable Doubt and is a cause for celebration, the album comes with its fair share of tribulations. For years the rift between Hova and Dame Dash has been obvious as the former friends turned rivals have been not so subliminally taking shots at one another in various ways, shapes, and form. While many Hip-Hoppers have hoped that the two would hash things out and just be on friendlier terms, the recent lawsuit filed by Jay-Z to keep Dame from selling Reasonable Doubt as an NFT is more proof that reconciliation between the two is a crack pipe dream at this point. But this isn’t the first time that the classic album in question has been part of...
Today, WILLOW announced her new album, lately I feel EVERYTHING. It’s out July 16th on MSFTSMusic/Roc Nation. This will be the follow-up to 2019’s Willow as a solo artist; she released the collaborative album The Anxiety with her beau Tyler Cole. The new album includes features Travis Barker, Avril Lavigne and more. Along with the announcement, the 20-year-old singer also unveiled a new single called “Lipstick.” This comes after WILLOW’s pop-punk single “t r a n s p a r e n t s o u l” with the esteemed Blink-182 drummer on drums that came out earlier this year. WILLOW also plays guitar on the new album, something she was inspired to do because of her mom, Jada Pinkett Smith’s own nü-metal band called Wicked Wisdom, which she formed when WILLOW was but a baby. “I personally feel it’s just r...
