Huey Lewis and the News have sold the majority of their catalog to Primary Wave Music for around $20 million, Variety reports. The deal includes all of the band’s music from inception through 1994, which includes hit albums like Sports and Fore! Måneskin Announce New Album Rush!
Italian glam rockers Måneskin have announced a new album called Rush!, due out January 20th. The band’s third full-length will be available in a variety of configurations, including on CD and standard, white, red, and picture disk vinyl, with special box sets for sale as well. D.H. Peligro, the drummer for influential punk band Dead Kennedys who also was a drummer for the Red Hot Chili Peppers for a short period of time, had died. He was 63. Jerry Lee Lewis, the rock and roll innovator whose career stumbled after his marriage to his 13-year-old cousin Myra Gale Brown, is dead at the age of 87.
