Saint Punk Unveils Ambitious Debut Album “Ouroboros”

With a gritty, signature style coined as “grunge house,” Saint Punk is settling for nothing less than raising hell upon the dancefloor. Born and bred in Los Angeles, Saint Punk started out his career in music within the rock world before successfully making the transition to dance music back in 2018. A dozen singles later, as well as prestigious remixes for the likes of Whethan, grandson, 3LAU, MXMS and BLVK JVCK, Saint Punk has finally unveiled his massive debut album Ouroboros. Saint Punk and Matt McAndrew Pull No Punches on “Gloves”

With three new releases in the last three months alone, it’s safe to say grunge house trailblazer Saint Punk is on a roll. Keeping things interesting are the distinctly experimental sounds of each track, from the sultry bass tones of “Closer Tonight” to the Latin house-infused “Comatose.” His latest, “Gloves” with Matt McAndrew, keeps the momentum going, adding a heavy dose of rock & roll to his diverse discography.  Jumpstarted by a banging percussion line and blazing synths, “Gloves” is unrelenting and full of passion. It largely bypassing verses and a bridge, instead structured around an anthemic chorus repeated like the melody of a house track. This one will have you on your feet and banging your head the whol...

Saint Punk Drops Bouncy New Single “Comatose” and Shares Music Video

Combining his love for rock music with the sounds of house, Saint Punk has been delighting fans with his blend of grunge house. A little over a month ago, he dropped an intense single “Closer Tonight” with a dramatic, cinematic companion. Now, he’s switched gears and lightened things up with the release of “Comatose” alongside a fun music video. As with many of his releases, “Comatose” lays down a deep, bouncing bassline that will likely get listeners in motion. He then combines the tune’s sturdy base with some harsh synth and choppy vocals to create a unique hybrid product fans of his sound will feel right at home with. The video, on the other hand, is simple, but lighthearted as it features nothing more than Saint Punk showing off his ...

Watch Saint Punk’s Cinematic Music Video for New Single “Closer Tonight”

Saint Punk has done it again, delivering a high-octane explosion of his signature grunge house sound with his new single “Closer Tonight.” His latest offering has arrived alongside a stunning introspective music video.  The visuals for “Closer Tonight” are cinematic and feel like a true thriller. Director Matthew Lohmann depicts Saint Punk going through severe inner turmoil. As he slowly descends into madness he’s followed by a shadowy figure, who matches the eerily intense production beat for beat.  Both the storytelling and track composition express a sense of raw energy that seems to encapsulate the general consensus of how many are feeling over the last year. In times of uncertainty, music has a way of allowing anger and frustration to be express...

Saint Punk Flips Ookay and Cesqeaux’s “The Pit” Into a Grunge House Banger

Grunge house innovator Saint Punk has been steadily cultivating his craft as of late. With releases such as “Light ‘Em Up” and his Brohug collaboration “Brake,” the rock band frontman-turned producer has made waves among the bass house community. Now, he has made his debut on Ookay‘s The Woodwerk imprint with a fresh take on the label boss’ collaboration with Cesqeaux, “The Pit.” Who says you can’t mosh to house music? Saint Punk retains the raw energy of the original dubstep production while adding a shuffling jackin’ house groove. Grinding bass, trap horns, and a screeching, sliding synth lead complete the package to make Saint Punk’s remix of “The Pit” a bona fide dancefloor weapon. The remix is the...

Saint Punk Releases Gritty Remix Pack for “Guttah”

Saint Punk‘s distortion-heavy single “Guttah,” has received the remix treatment from several rising producers looking to push it to the limit. The grunge house purveyor’s original offering makes its twisted constitution known early, sparing no time before introducing a mangled bassline that dominates the mix. Though he set the energy level high with his original release, Saint Punk managed to find a handful of producers with a willingness to harness and reimagine “Guttah” into something new.  Juice! the DJ kicks things off with a full rhythmic transformation, reshaping the single into a midtempo dance floor heater. Meanwhile, Dropheadz and Trst. go toe-to-toe with Saint Punk at his own game with house interpretations that don’t compr...

Last year, the LA-based producer released his self-titled debut EP via CONFESSION, as well as churned out remixes for the likes of QUIX, Vincent, and MXMS. This time around, he’s impressed with his latest single “Everybody,” released via Thrive Music. Each of Saint Punk’s recent releases has shown steady refinement and “Everybody” is no different. This thumping grunge house stunner pulls out all the stops, as the talented producer combines breakbeat drums, blaring sirens, and crushing synths to help cultivate an infectious feel that we can’t get enough of. Saint Punk has masterfully woven a catchy vocal sample in as well, making this tune all the more irresistible. Fans o...

Alt-Rock Meets Electronic in Saint Punk’s Scintillating Two-Track Remix Pack of The Used’s “The Taste of Ink”

Grunge house producer Saint Punk is here with his latest electro-inspired bomb, a two-track remix bundle of platinum-selling rock band The Used‘s debut 2002 single “The Taste of Ink.” Rapidly gaining traction in the electronic dance music world for his unique blend of alt-rock and electro, Saint Punk does a brilliant job of breathing new life into the early 2000’s pop-punk jam with two contrasting reworks. The “Summer Lockdown Edit” is a bona fide pre-summer bop, as Saint Punk uses crunchy guitar riffs and crisp percussion elements to crystallize the original into a foot-tapping future house thumper. The “Underground Lockdown Edit,” on the other hand,” strikes a more sinister chord. The remix pack’s second and ...
