The police in Lagos, on Friday, warned that the burning of several police stations across the state will lead to retrogression and a waste of money that could have been deployed to other projects. Three bank buildings set ablaze in Lekki
Three new generational bank buildings have been set ablaze along the Admiralty Way in Lekki, Lagos. The three banks have been identified as Polaris, GTB and Access Bank branches. One dead in fresh Ivory Coast clashes over president’s re-election bid

Streets were deserted and businesses shut in Zimbabwe’s two main cities on Friday after security forces were deployed to prevent anti-government marches called by activists over corruption and economic hardship.
