Luka Dončić Reveals He Fears Draymond Green the Most in the Western Conference Finals

Dallas Mavericks star Luka Dončić recently faced off against Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors in Game 1 of the NBA Western Conference Finals. Prior to Game 1, Dončić revealed that he has great respect for the Warriors, in particular, stars Curry and Klay Thompson. However, he did note that although both are incredible sharpshooters, he fears Draymond Green the most. He said, “Obviously, Klay and Steph are incredible offensive guys, but I think the key to the Warriors’ team is Draymond. He’s just unbelievable. I really respect him and everything he does.” He also alluded that he enjoys the trash talk between himself and Green, “That’s the fun of the game. I love that part.” Earlier, the Warriors delivered a blowout 112-87 win over the Mavs in the first game. Though Curry and Thomps...

UFC’s “The Korean Zombie” Dispels Retirement Rumors

Following his loss to Alexander Volkanovski at UFC 273 earlier in April, fan-favorite fighter Jung Chan-Sung, better known as “The Korean Zombie,” hinted at possibly retiring, saying that he realized could no longer be a UFC champion and needed to reevaluate what he was fighting for. The bout with Volkanovski stopped in the fourth round with Jung still standing. Referee Herb Dean stopped the fight for fear of Jung’s wellbeing after the South Korean fighter took significant damage while refusing to fold. Since returning from mandatory military service in 2017, Jung has recorded four wins and three losses. In a recent Instagram post, Jung expressed his regret for not being able to perform the way that he wanted. The Korean Zombie expresses that though he doesn’t feel that he’s in a position ...

Orlando Magic Secure No.1 Pick in 2022 NBA Draft Lottery

The Orlando Magic have won the 2022 draft lottery and will be the first to pick for the NBA Draft taking place this June. The last time the Magic secured the No.1 pick was back in 2004 when the team selected Dwight Howard, and the moment also marks 30 years to the day since the Magic won the lottery that secured Shaquille O’Neal. Orlando had the worst record in the 2021-2022 NBA season at 22-60 and had about a 14 percent chance of landing the No.1 pick. Heading into the draft, it was originally supposed to be president of basketball operations, Jeff Weltman, on stage, but a last-minute change was made to coach Jamahl Mosley based on a lucky feeling. “I haven’t been very good at this,” Weltman told reporters in a video interview. “It’s funny. Coach was feeling lucky and we let him roll the ...

Antonio Brown Wants To Retire With the Pittsburgh Steelers

Former All-Pro NFL wide receiver Antonio Brown has recently appeared to shift his football priorities to his new found venture with Donda Sports and the release of his new album in April. While football may no longer be at the top of mind for Antonio Brown, the WR recently stated in a Twitter post that he wants to retire as a Pittsburgh Steeler. While retirement seems to be on his mind, he wanted to clarify that he does not want to play and only wants to “Retire A Steeler.” Brown spent his first nine NFL seasons as a Steeler. During his time with Pittsburgh, Brown was also a seven-time Pro Bowler, four-time All-Pro and a member of the Hall of Fame All 2010s team. He later forced a trade that ended his Steelers tenure and joined the Raiders, then the New England Patriots in 2019. He later j...

Dallas Mavericks Deliver Blow Out Game 7 Win Against Phoenix Suns to Advance to Western Conference Finals

Luka Doncic led the Dallas Mavericks to a blow out win against the Phoenix Suns to advance to the NBA 2021 Western Conference Finals. The Mavs dominated the entire game with a 123-90 win in Game 7. By halftime, the Suns only had 27 points, shooting a 24.4% season-low from the field. Doncic himself put up 27 points in the first half alone, placing the Mavs ahead with a 30-point lead, the largest ever Game 7 halftime lead. By the end of the fourth quarter, the Mavs led by 42 points, the largest deficit the Suns have faced all season. While Doncic finished the game with 35 points, 10 rebounds and four assists, Spencer Dinwiddie scored 30 points off the bench. Suns’ stars Devin Booker and CP3 were unable to connect, both shooting a combined 0-for-11 from the arc. Booker finished the game with ...

Giannis Antetokounmpo Sets Impressive Stat Line Record

Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks may have ended their 2022 NBA season journey, but the Greek Freak isn’t going out without setting a new record. As confirmed by the NBA, Antetokounmpo is the first player in history to earn 237 points, 103 rebounds and 50 assists in a series. For Game 7 of the Milwaukee Bucks versus Boston Celtics playoffs matchup, he scored 25 points, 20 rebounds and nine assists. Unfortunately, the Celtics bested the Bucks 109-81 — effectively ending the reign of the 2021 NBA Champions. Boston is now set to face Jimmy Butler and the Miami Heat for the Eastern Conference Finals. Giannis Antetokounmpo is the first player to have 200+ points, 100+ rebounds, and 50+ assists in a series. #NBA75 pic.twitter.com/bVDNqb15zp — NBA History (@NBAHistory) May 15, 2022 In...

Logan Paul To Take Floyd Mayweather to Court, Claims He Still Owes Him Millions for 2021 Fight

Almost a year ago, YouTuber turned boxer Logan Paul challenged legendary fighter Floyd Mayweather to an exhibition bout. The fight that saw Mayweather come out of retirement and back into the ring sold over one million pay-per-views, and resulted in great disappointment going all eight rounds and without a clear knockout win. Although the exact details of how much Paul made have not been disclosed, his brother Jake Paul, told the media back in February that Mayweather still owes his brother somewhere between $5 and $10 million USD. TMZ recently caught up with Logan outside the Hard Rock Hotel in New York and asked if Mayweather has paid him yet. Logan responded to the outlet, “No, he has not paid me in full. That is a fact. Short a few mil.” When asked if there was a chance that the two fi...

The Boston Celtics Have Dethroned the Milwaukee Bucks

It may have been relatively sunny in the Boston area today, but it was raining three’s inside the TD Garden. Having gone into the second half down by five, the Boston Celtics stormed into the remainder of the game to blow out the Milwaukee Bucks by nearly 30 points. And just like that, there will be a new NBA champion this season. No matter who was shooting — Jayson Tatum, Marcus Smart, or the unlikeliest of heroes, Grant Williams — the C’s were making this more of a party than a heated game seven. Although Giannis Antetokounmpo was making his mark early on through 25 points, 20 rebounds and nine assists, the star forward seemed to have disappeared in the second half — thanks to Williams, who provided stiff defense on Giannis and scoring a career-high 27 points himself. Welcome to the Gran...

McLaren Is Officially Joining Formula E in 2023

McLaren has now confirmed previous rumors by officially announcing that it’ll be joining Formula E in 2023. The decision marks yet another expansion in the British automaker’s racing division, which currently encompasses Formula 1, IndyCar and Extreme E. Instead of creating its own team from scratch, however, McLaren will be acquiring the Mercedes-EQ Formula E Team, absorbing the reigning ABB FIA Formula E World Championship team into its roster. Its debut into the all-electric motorsport circuit will also coincide with Formula E’s introduction of its Gen3 racer, which the organization has dubbed its “fastest, most efficient and sustainable race car yet.” “As with all forms of the sport we participate in, Formula E has racing at the centre but will be strategically, commercially and techni...

Liverpool Steps Closer to Quadruple Dreams With FA Cup Victory Over Chelsea

Jürgen Klopp’s mighty Liverpool side is now one step closer to realizing their quadruple dreams after taking home the FA Cup on Saturday against Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea. Almost a repeat of the League Cup final earlier in February, the Merseyside team and London’s favorite played all 90 minutes without a goal scored despite Liverpool’s dominance throughout much of the match, recording 17 shots and 53% possession over Chelsea’s 10 shots and 47% possession. Only two shots were on target for each side, and without any goals to celebrate, the game progressed to penalty shootouts, where the Reds took home its second major title this year once again with a 6-5 victory over the Blues. With the EFL Cup and FA Cup now secure, Liverpool is inching ever closer to its historic quadruple, an achievement...

NBA Twitter Declares The Ben Simmons & James Harden Trade An Absolute Bust

HipHopWired Featured Video CLOSE Source: Tim Nwachukwu / Getty The Ben Simmons and James Harden trade is looking like it didn’t benefit either the Brooklyn Nets or Philadelphia 76ers. After the Philadelphia 76ers got bounced out of the playoffs by Jimmy Butler, and the Miami Heat Thursday night (May.12), NBA Twitter ultimately decided that the trade between the Nets and Sixers didn’t benefit either franchise. Harden, who has been a shell of his former self since he was dealt from the Houston Rockets to the Nets, kept his playoff legacy of disappearing during the postseason going. With a hobbled Joel Embiid trying his best to help Philly force a Game 7, Harden decided to check out in the second half of the game, only taking TWO shots. Yes, you read that correctly, just TWO shots. Stephen A....
