The Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF) has condemned the attack on Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo state’s residence, saying all hands must be on deck to fish out perpetrators of the crime. Gunmen had on Saturday attacked and killed many people, including three security personnel, and set the country home of the governor at Omuma, Oru East Local Government Area of the state ablaze. Ekiti: Police arrest five ‘cultists’ during rituals of initiatgion
Operatives of the Rapid Response Squad (RRS) of the Ekiti State police command have arrested five students suspected to be members of BLACK AXE (AIYE) secret confraternity during rituals of initiation in the state. Anambra CP charges officers to protect themselves, resist further attacks
The Commissioner of Police in Anambra, Monday Kuryas, has charged the personnel to protect themselves against attacks by hoodlums as well as reclaim police facilities from them. Kurya gave the directive in a lecture held for the police management team, Area Commanders, Divisional Police Officers and Heads of Police Tactical Operational Units in the command. Gunmen abduct NARTO official in Delta
The Police in Delta State on Saturday has confirmed that gunmen had abducted the Vice Chairman of the Nigeria Association of Road Transport Owners (NARTO), Warri branch, Mr Duris Orugbo in Sapele local government area of the State. The director-general, Cross River Migration Control Agency, Prince Michael Nku Abuo, has called for enactment of a legislation to back labour migration in order to engender national development. LASIEC unveils guidelines for forthcoming council election
The Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission (LASIEC) has unveiled guidelines for the forthcoming local government election scheduled for July 24. The Federal Government on Friday in Abuja virtually inaugurated seven Information Technology (IT) projects located in five geo-political zones of the country.
