South Park: Post-Covid Movie Coming to Paramount+ in November

South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone are opening up about the iconic cartoon’s expansion to Paramount+. Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, the duo talked about their plans to release a total of 14 “made-for-TV movies” over the next seven years on the streaming service as part of the $900 million deal they’ve inked with ViacomCBS. “With Viacom, we realized we could make them as long or as short as we needed,” Parker stated, while Stone added, “We’re trying to make what’s on Paramount+ different from anywhere else, so hourlong made-for-TV movies is where our head is at. We’ll do two made-for-TV movies every year. They will be big, but they are not quite movie scale.” Advertisement Related Video The first film, South Park: Post Covid, will premiere on November 25th; a second as-yet...

The Real World Homecoming: Los Angeles Cast Is Not ‘Being Polite’

So how does it feel to be back on the iconic MTV series, nearly 30 years later? “I don’t think we will be doing a lot of arguing, will we?” Jon asks in the trailer, reflecting on his original feud-filled 1993 experience. Cut to Jon telling someone “I hate to see you leave like this.” In 2021. Looks like not everyone is going to be polite. Who else is bickering in the City of Angels — and who ca...

Teen Mom OG Promises: How Zach Proposed To Cheyenne — And Ryder

Cheyenne and Zach made a “commitment for a lifetime” during tonight’s Teen Mom OG episode: The longtime sweethearts got engaged in front of their family and friend’s at their baby sprinkle for son-on-the-way Ace. Ryder was also part of the special moment. Before Zach popped the question to Chey and Ryder, he made sure to get the blessing from her father Kyle. Next, he devised the plan: The proposal(s) would unfold at the aforementioned party in a separate indoor area, and the two would be blindfolded on their way to the special spot. When Cheyenne arrived at the romantic destination, she was genuinely surprised. And no, Chey, you weren’t receiving a crib! “Twelve years later, I got you right where I want you,” Zach told a stunned Cheyenne. “A...

Curb Your Enthusiasm Returns for a Wine-Spilling, Gut-Busting Season 11 Premiere: Review

The Pitch: Twenty-one years in, and LA’s (least) favorite curmudgeon Larry David is still up to his usual self-serving tricks, even as HBO’s long-running sitcom Curb Your Enthusiasm moves from its MAGA-hat commentary in Season 10 to COVID-era shenanigans in Season 11. The season premiere — dubbed “The Five-Foot Fence,” Jehovah bless — brings the show back without skipping a beat, rolling into these so-called “unprecedented times” with all the unpredictable hilarity we’ve come to expect from L.D. and the crew. Leave it to Larry to start off the season with an image right out of Sunset Boulevard: a dead body in Larry’s pool and the police determine that it’s clearly a burglar who fell in and drowned. No harm, no foul, thinks Larry; by the time he’s successfully pitched a show ...

Dave Chappelle has addressed the ongoing controversy surrounding his latest Netflix special, The Closer. In the special, the veteran comedian makes several jokes about transgendered people, defends J.K. Rowlings’ anti-trans comments, and goes as far to declare himself “Team TERF” (TERF is the acronym for a trans-exclusionary radical feminist). Chappelle’s comments were met with immense criticism and last week, members of Netflix’s LGBTQ+ community staged a walkout in protest of the streamer’s decision to stand behind the comedian. Over the weekend, Chappelle spoke about at the controversy at the end of his standup show in Nashville, and he has now uploaded video of his remarks to Instagram. Jason Sudeikis Returns to SNL: The Six Best Sketches

Jason Sudeikis returned to Saturday Night Live this week, his first time hosting after spending ten years (or an “actor’s dozen,” as he called it in the monologue) as a writer, then a cast member. Sudeikis arguably has one of the most successful post-SNL careers of the past decade, appearing in multiple hit movies and winning a bunch of awards for his current sitcom Ted Lasso. Having a beloved alumnus return to host can be a deceptively dicey prospect, for a number of reasons. Not needing to work around a particular host’s skill set can create high expectations of an all-killer episode—which can then be dashed against the rocks of callbacks, revivals of old characters, and cameos from the host’s time on the show. The Sudeikis episode had a little bit of all of that, but not enough to tank ...

Hayden Christensen Returning as Darth Vader in Ahsoka Series

Don’t underestimate his power. Hayden Christensen is set to make his return as Anakin Skywalker, aka Darth Vader, in the upcoming Ahsoka series on Disney+. We already knew Christensen would be back in the famous black suit alongside his former master Ewan McGregor in the Obi-Wan Kenobi limited series, but his role in Ahsoka was revealed today by The Hollywood Reporter. His appearance in Kenobi is one thing, as that series is set 10 years after Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith, which saw Skywalker’s rise — or fall — to becoming Darth Vader. But showing up in Ahsoka poses some interesting questions. Starring Rosario Dawson, the series is spinning off of The Mandalorian Season 2, which is set five years after Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi. Of cour...
