For fans of The Sopranos, the podcast Talking Sopranos has unveiled a number of interesting details about one of the country’s most beloved crime dramas. A recent episode alleges that HBO paid Tony Soprano himself, James Gandolfini, a cool $3 million so that he would turn down a role on the US version of The Office. Evidently, after Steve Carell departed The Office, NBC was scouring for their next regional manager of Dunder Mifflin. “You know, they talked about having Gandolfini at one point replace him,” Imperioli said. Schirripa explained that a few years after The Sopranos ended, NBC had offered Gandolfini $4 million for one season of The Of...

Chloe has reemerged in Siesta Key — and she’s stronger than yesterday (Britney reference). Tonight’s episode saw the MTV crew readjusting to life back in the Key after a lengthy private Palm Island getaway, during which they received a shocking “farewell” video from Chloe. The reason Chloe gave for her absence? “You can only place yourself in a toxic environment for so long until you have your breaking point,” she stated in the clip. But now she’s back — and possibly better than ever thanks to a month-long journey of self-realization. “I was focusing on myself,” Chloe privately told Amanda, who was glad to have her back. “But I’m learning now that I’m allowed to have fun, I’m allowed to enjoy...

Good news for Dexter fans: Debra Morgan is returning from the dead. Sort of. After her character was infamously killed off in Dexter’s 2013 series finale, Jennifer Carpenter is reprising her role for Showtime’s upcoming revival of the serial killer drama. If you’ll recall (spoiler), Deb was murdered by serial killer Oliver Saxon in the final episode of Dexter’s original iteration, which prompted some critics to call it “the worst series finale ever.” Helmed by original showrunner Clyde Phillips, Showtime’s 10-episode revival of Dexter occurs nearly a decade after where we left off, with the titular character now living under an anonymous alias in a fictional Upstate New York town. Michael C. Hall will be returning as the show’s protagonist, with Clancy Brown, Julia Jones, Alano Miller, Joh...

Let’s review some of those surprises, snubs, and overall trends in this year’s nominees. (View the full list of nominations here.) SNL Goes For the Gold: Current Saturday Night Live cast members have become fixtures among nominees in recent years — but most oft...
