XP Music Futures Announces Initial Line-up for Conference’s Fifth Edition

Leading music conference in the MENA region, XP Music Futures, is slated to return to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia this December. Marking its fifth edition, the industry-led event welcomes a line-up of new performers, mentorship programs and tech brands curated by the MDLBEAST Foundation, part of Saudi music entertainment company MDLBEAST.

With a variety of renowned artists and music experts amongst the headline names featuring in last year’s edition, XP Music Futures looks to level up its diverse offering in the upcoming event with a slew of regional and international talent while continuing to hone in on its core pillars of talent, scene, impact and innovation.

Set to take place at the JAX District creative hub, the conference will comprise spaces dedicated to empowering and educating music professionals. The breadth of activations will revolve around panel talks with speakers Tam Tam of music label and creative hub GoastFlower, Egyptian rapper and AWAL label owner WEGZ, record store owner Shadi Megallaa, Palestinian singer-songwriter Zeyne, and more.

Adding to the daytime schedule, a DemoLab will give tech enthusiasts the chance to explore new production equipment and audio gear. Several pop-ups will also be set up in the outdoor spaces including one from Fujifilm and Youtube as well as an earplug testing station by Hearful and Arabtone. Rounding up its educational programming, the Saudi Music Commission will join Anghami and Moja in intimate sessions and roundtable discussions exploring how public institutions and private platforms can collaborate to fast-track artist development.

Once these events wrap up, the event will transform into an entertainment space for XP NITE. This takeover will introduce headline acts Sama’ Abdulhadi, Bab L’ Bluz and Moontalk to the main stages. As well as getting a front row seat to their performances, attendees will also be able to check out the XP Market where merchandise will be sold by independent brands.

Nada Alhelabi, General Manager of MDLBEAST Foundation, shared in an official statement, “Reaching our fifth year is a milestone that reflects the incredible growth of XP Music Futures and the wider music ecosystem in our region. What began as a bold idea has evolved into a global platform that attracts artists, innovators, and leaders from every corner of the industry. This anniversary is not just about celebrating our journey so far, but about looking ahead with even greater ambition to inspire, empower, and elevate music culture in the region.”
