My mom, grandmothers, aunts, former dance teachers, and even my favorite Trader Joe’s cashier are all on my list of people to celebrate this Mother’s Day. As I’ve gotten older and reflected on all the adults who have influenced my upbringing, I’ve realized that Mother’s Day is the perfect holiday to show my gratitude. Gifts come in many forms, but in true editor fashion, I like to start with apparel, accessories, and footwear. When shopping for the mother figures in my life, there are a handful of brands that stand out amongst the rest. Banana Republic, Jenni Kayne, Tory Burch, and Free People have the modern, yet stylish pieces that both my mom and I adore. For activewear, The North Face and Adidas immediately come to mind. And for accessories, I’d go for something as luxurious as Jimmy Choo or for everyday classics like Reese Witherspoon’s brand, Draper James. No matter who you’re celebrating this holiday, they’ll love the following pieces.

Free People
Bobbi Slouch Suede Tote
When it comes to price point and style, very few suede bags beat this $98 option from Free People. (Trust me, I have it in blue.)

Banana Republic
Cotton Poplin Midi Shirtdress
I can hear you saying “oh my goodness, this is my new favorite dress” already.

Banana Republic
Wide-Leg Pull-On Cotton Poplin Ankle Pant
Wide-leg cotton pants are an immediate yes.

John Hardy
Surf Ring, Sterling Silver, Double Finger
A simple stacking ring to go with any existing jewelry.

Coach Outlet
Brooklyn Shoulder Bag 28
Coach was my mom’s favorite brand growing up, and 20 years later, it’s mine, too!

Tory Burch
Wishbone Pendant
Chunky pendants are a jewelry trend my mom and I are both on board with.

Adidas
Tennis Climacool Y-Dress
This is begging to be worn to a Saturday afternoon pickleball match.

The North Face
Daybreak Rain Jacket
The cinched detailing makes this a jacket I can’t leave behind in my cart.

The North Face
Never Stop Wearing Pants
Another great find for evening walks, weekend workouts, and errand runs.
