Last year, luxury German titan Montblanc celebrated a century of its iconic Meisterstück fountain pen with a humorous short film directed by Wes Anderson. The critically-acclaimed actors return to the Montblanc Observatory High-Mountain Library, teaching viewers about the brand’s expertise in fountain pens, watches, and leather goods. Let’s Write is infused with comedy, previewing a playful script centered on Montblanc’s love for travel.

The four-minute short opens with a spirited introduction at the Montblanc Observatory, moving into a festive bar before the holidays. The new Montblanc Writing Traveler Bag, the Wes Anderson-designed “SCHREIBERLING,” a Portable Writing Table, and a Minerva Pocket Watch are introduced in various frames. The film is closed on the Montblanc Voyage of Panorama, writing a new story with Montblanc’s iconic pens.
