The official trailer for Quentin Tarantino’s Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair is officially here, uniting both volumes into a single, unrated epic — just like Tarantino intended.

The film features a run time of 281 minutes, including a 15-minute intermission, and marks its first ever nationwide theatrical release. The Whole Bloody Affair also includes a new, never-before-seen anime sequence lasting seven-and-a-half minutes. “I wrote and directed it as one movie — and I’m so glad to give the fans the chance to see it as one movie,” Tarantino previously said in a statement. “The best way to see ‘Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair‘ is at a movie theater in glorious 70mm or 35mm. Blood and guts on a big screen in all its glory!”

Kill Bill stars Uma Thurman as Beatrix Kiddo/The Bride, a pregnant woman left for dead by her former boss and lover Bill (David Carradine) at her wedding rehearsal. She loses her unborn child and is in a coma for years. When she finally regains consciousness, she goes on a violent rampage of revenge, hunting down every last member of the Deadly Viper Assassination Squad to get to Bill himself.

Joining Thurman and Carradine in the cast are Lucy Liu, Vivica A. Fox, Michael Madsen, Daryl Hannah, Gordon Liu and Michael Parks.
