2025 is coming to an end, but the music headlines are doing the exact opposite.
With new releases from Niontay, SAILORR, and redveil, shocking links came from the likes of Leon Thomas and Disclosure, as well as Yeat and Joji.
Our December playlist is now live with all the new additions thus far, and find all of our favorite music moments from the week below.
Niontay Announces New Tape
10k’s output this year has surely been solid and consistent, with longform releases coming from a majority of the label’s lineup; Niontay, duendita, Anysia Kym and Tony Seltzer, MIKE and Tony Seltzer, and duendita all dropped projects. As one of 10k’s ascendant rappers, the budding Brooklyn-based, Florida-raised Niontay shared the news of yet another longform release coming this year. Preceded by sharp new single “100days100nights,” Soulja Repellant Tape – which features Earl Sweatshirt – is confirmed to release everywhere on December 16. Yes, it’s a Tuesday.
SKYLRK Sets Up Shop in Tokyo
On a similar note of big ends to banner years, Justin Bieber’s SKYLRK has opened the doors to its first-ever brick-and-mortar outpost. Located in Tokyo, the lifestyle brand’s debut physical space is a temporary home to exclusive Japan drops, all of the classic silhouettes, and the new Zellerfeld footwear collaboration.
SAILORR Sharpens Her Storytelling on FROM FLORIDA’S FINEST: DELU/XXX
SAILORR’s rise to become your favorite artist’s favorite artist is one to be studied. Skyrocketing to the top of a majority of 2025’s “Artists to Watch” lists with no features and few co-signs, SAILORR is the definition of self-made. Her debut LP, FROM FLORIDA’S FINEST, now takes on an extended version with four new tracks, billed as NOT a deluxe, but “DELU/XXX,” – as SAILORR says, “for your delusional ex.” No notes.
A$AP’s First Week at CHANEL
Just one week into his new role at Chanel, A$AP Rocky is already making moves, serving looks, and hopefully hinting at a “Brand Ambassador” position that is less of a figurehead and more of an active player in the design process. He popped out to the house’s first New York City Métiers d’art showcase for the 2026 collection, and the viral “Margaret Qualley and A$AP Rocky proposal video” finally materialized. He and his double-C’d “wife” led the annual campaign visuals and sat front row for the underground – literally, set in MTA Bowery station in the Lower East Side – with Rocky also showing out in Miami a few days later for the Ray-Ban party at Art Basel, donning a straight-off-the-runway Superman sweater.
Long Live le FLEUR*
GOLF le FLEUR*, you had a crazy run. As revealed by Tyler, the Creator himself in an Instagram post, the imminent Season 4 release will mark the penultimate apparel drop from the brand. Accessories, fragrances, and “select collaborations” will continue, though. “making clothes. my second passion. i started this back in 2019 as a side project. the goal was to mirror things that matched my personal style. it grew into a very special world of specifc colors, shapes, patterns, etc. from tennis courts at lacoste, to blue houses on top of mountains, to 30 foot multicolored trunks at louis vuitton, this has taken me to places ive dreamed of,” he wrote in the Instagram announcement. “louise trotter gave me my first real chance at lacoste. virgil helped shape the blueprint on getting things made. pharrell opened the doors at louis vuitton. im forever grateful for every helping hand that understood the language. i never wanted to be in the lookbooks or campaigns but for this last one it felt right ( i was the fit model afterall). i loved these clothes over the years so so so so so much. every pantone picked, every commercial shot, every sample that came in, it fed my spirit in ways nothing else could. it was a language i wanted to create, but now its time to slow down on communicating.”

Obviously, Spotify Wrapped
Judgement day. Let us put you on to some new picks for 2026. Not over my “Spotify age” being 18.
Music Shows Out at the 2025 Fashion Awards
One of the most artful convergences of music and fashion is the awards show red carpet. Time and time again, the musicians step with their finest foot forward, culminating in some of the most notable looks of the night. At this year’s annual Fashion Awards, attendees were graced by the presence and poignant styling of Little Simz, Skepta, FKA twigs, and many others.
Westside Gunn Pairs His New Sneaker with an EP
Leave it to Westside Gunn to serve up his new sneaker release with a side of new music. With his long-awaited debut Saucony silhouette out now – aptly dubbed the Saucony x Griselda Progrid Triumph 4 Super Flygod – the Super Flygod himself delivered a three-track mixtape to match. Playing off the sneaker’s glow-in-the-dark detailing, the project is entitled MY SAUCONYS GLOWIN, lifted from the messaging printed on the exterior of the sneaker box. Stove God Cooks contributes to two of the three songs, with Benny the Butcher also stepping in on the final one.
Dior Taps 070 Shake as Brand Ambassador
Just as I was readying my contribution to the musician brand ambassador discourse – and that labels and houses need to look past the Rockys and the Travis’s when tapping talent – Dior made one of the smartest ambassador plays yet. The legacy house, now with Jonathan Anderson at the helm, brought on 070 Shake to serve as the new ambassador, aligning over a shared approach to boundary-breaking art. Shake’s undefinable artistry – across both her music and art – Anderson feels, is exactly what Dior needs.
Comethazine’s Grand Rebrand
Comethazine is now Frank Kole. And he makes jazz music. And he has an album coming soon.
Dijon’s Big Week in NYC: 3 Live Shows and an SNL Debut
Living out a very Carrie Bradshaw week in New York City, Dijon stayed busy. After performing two nights at Brooklyn Paramount, one night at Terminal 5 – and brought out Bon Iver and Mk.gee (I don’t want to talk about it) – he readies to take the SNL stage for his debut later tonight alongside host Melissa McCarthy. Needless to say, we’re sat.
Reviews were mixed on this one, but King Tonka and @sushitrash (presumably) got in the studio for the official remix of Joji’s “Pixelated Kisses,” one of the lead singles from his forthcoming Piss in the Wild album.
And another one! The soulful savant joining hands with the staple electronic duo? A link for the ages.
