Blink-182 Release 25th Anniversary Edition of Take Off Your Pants and Jacket

Blink-182 are celebrating the 2001 release of Take Off Your Pants and Jacket with a 25th anniversary edition of the album that’s out now. Stream it below.

The reissue, via Geffen Records, includes the original 13 songs on the album with six tracks never released on streaming services or a single album. The six additional songs (“Please Take Me Home, “Time to break up,” “Mother’s day, “What Went Wrong,” “Fuck a Dog,” “Don’t Tell Me It’s Over,” “When You Fucked Grandpa”) originally appeared divided among three different physical editions of the 2001 album as hidden tracks. The 25th anniversary edition of Take Off Your Pants and Jacket marks the first time these hidden tracks have ever appeared together on a single release. A 2-LP vinyl version of the 25th anniversary edition is planned for release. Fans can pre-order the vinyl version here.

Featuring top-10 hits like “The Rock Show,” “Stay Together for the Kids,” and “First Date,” the record was the first punk rock album in the US to debut at No. 1 on Billboard’s album charts, according to a press release. The album followed their breakout third studio record, Enema of the State, and hit at the height of the pop punkers power.
