Tucked away at the 3:40-minute mark of OVO co-founder Oliver El-Khatib’s SoundCloud mix is a new Drake offering: “Serious.” He’s also since shared it to his @plottttwistttttt YouTube channel, but not any streaming services.
Ken Carson Announces New Album: xperiment
xperiment loading… It’s clear Ken Carson has been in the lab, and he’s finally made it official with the announcement of his forthcoming studio album, billed xperiment. The rapper’s burner Instagram page, @xperimenting0_0, has grown into a moldboard of sorts for the project, accumulating a selection of thematically cohesive videos and photos. So far, Destroy Lonely, Young Thug and 2hollis have all reposted the “X” insignia on their Instagram stories.
Isaiah Rashad Is Hitting the Road
We’ve been waiting for this one. Isaiah Rashad is bringing IT’S BEEN AWFUL on the road, taking the album on a literal road trip. On his tour dubbed Lil Sunny’s Awful Road Trip, Zay is tapping Top Dawg Entertainment labelmate Alameda to sit shotgun as a supporting act, with the run starting on August 13 in Atlanta, and closing out on September 28 in Tucson.
North West and Molly Santana Are Touring Together
The underground Queens are going on tour. Molly Santana and North West’s co-headlining mini-tour KIMOKAWAII kicks off on August 5 in Dallas and runs until a final Los Angeles show on August 27.
