Burna Boy Unveils ‘Love, Damini’ Summer 2022 Tour Dates

Burna Boy Unveils ‘Love, Damini’ Summer 2022 Tour Dates

Burna Boy may be fresh off his record-setting sold out debut at Madison Square Garden, but he’s ready to hit the road in support of his upcoming album, Love, Damini.

The GRAMMY winner is set to kick off his summer 2022 tour in mid-July at the Tipsy All White Beach Party in Barbados, and will stop by areas like Chicago, Houston, Boston and Montreal’s Osheaga Music and Arts Festival before closing it out in Atlanta at the end of the month. In addition to the tour, fans can catch Burna Boy at Hot 97’s 2022 Summer Jam and at Glastonbury. Citi cardmembers will be given access to the tour’s presale tickets from May 17 to May 19.

Love, Damini is set to drop on June 30 in celebration of his 31st birthday. Speaking to Billboard, Burna Boy revealed the meaning behind his upcoming album’s title and describes it as a love letter to his fans. “That’s how I like to sign all my letters…It’s a bit personal [because] it’s bringing you into my head on my birthday — when you turn 31 and ain’t got no kids, everything is going good and bad at the same time. You reflect and then you get as lit as possible. Then you sleep and wake up and reflect again. I’m reflecting on everything — what I’m doing and what’s happening where I’m from. Where I’m from is a part of where I’m going,” he said.
