British music magazine Q is publishing its final issue on July 28. The beloved long-running monthly, which has been integral to U.K. rock and alternative scene, will cease publication after 34 years due to financial constraints caused by the coronavirus crisis. “We’ve been a lean operation for all of my tenure, employing a variety of ways to help keep our head above water in an extremely challenging print market,” wrote editor Ted Kessler in his final Q editor’s letter. “Covid-19 wiped all that out. I must apologise profusely for my failure to keep Q afloat.” Parent company Bauer Media listed Q for sale among several other titles in May, following a sharp decline in sales and advertising revenue during the pandemic. The publishing industry ...
Juventus are still on course for this season’s Serie A title despite a blip in form, insists Adrien Rabiot, who says no “catastrophic” damage has been done. Maurizio Sarri’s side are currently sitting top of the Italian top-flight on 77 points, five ahead of second-placed Inter having played a game less. However, the Bianconeri have been fortunate to maintain their lead after a three-match winless run, which began with a 4-2 defeat against Milan at San Siro on July 7. Juve followed up that result with draws against Atalanta and Sassuolo, but Lazio failed to capitalise, losing their last three games to slip down to fourth in the standings. The reigning Italian champions are currently preparing to come up against Lazio in a crunch encounter at the Allianz Stadium on Monday, and Rabiot is con...
Former Manchester United star Phil Neville was not pleased with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team selection against Chelsea in the FA Cup. The Red Devils lost 3-1 in the semi final at Wembley after a limp display, and in part due to goalkeeping mistakes from David De Gea. But Neville felt the team selection from manager Solskjaer was a key reason for the loss. The result means Chelsea face Arsenal in the final, while both United and Chelsea have to play the final two Premier League games of their seasons to try and secure a spot in the top four. “I don’t think United had a player on the pitch, maybe [Bruno] Fernandes, that played well,” the former Manchester United player explained on TV. “I think Ole picked the wrong team and the wrong system.” Get more stories like this on Twitter You Deserve ...

Jawsh 685 and Jason Derulo are on track for a fourth successive U.K. chart crown with “Savage Love (Laxed – Siren Beat)”. But they’ve got a battle on their hands. The Kiwi producer and U.S. R&B artist lead the U.K. sales blast with their viral hit, which races to an early lead of 1,500 combined sales lead over Joel Corry & MNEK’s dance track “Head and Heart.” After 48 hours of the new chart week, “Savage Love (Laxed – Siren Beat)” takes top spot on the Official Chart: First Look Top 20. “Head and Heart” is “catching up,” the Official Charts Company reports. If the pair can outpace the incumbent, it’ll be both artists’ first No. 1. Elsewhere, DJ Khaled is set to score the two highest new entries...
