Over the weekend, MixedByAli shared via social media a virtual tour of his new recording studio home, which just happens to be the former studio used by Death Row Records. The live-action Spider-Verse can’t be stopped. It’s self-sustaining now. Alfred Molina is officially reprising his Doctor Octopus role from 2004’s classic Spider-Man 2 in Marvel’s upcoming third Spider-Man film (via The Hollywood Reporter). Molina turned in a fan-favorite performance as Dr. Otto Octavius to face Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man in the second entry in Sam Raimi’s trilogy. That film is widely considered one of the best superhero movies of all time. Less than three months after dropping Fear of Death, comedian-musician extraordinaire Tim Heidecker has announced his next release. Titled Office Hours Live presents Slaps, Bops & Bangers, it features songs from his podcast of the same name. Launched back in 2016, the Office Hours Live podcast sees Heidecker conducting phone and video calls with fans and special commentators. He hosts the program with Vic Berger and Doug “DJ Douggpound” Lussenhop, but other celebrities such as Heidecker’s Moonbase co-stars Fred Armisen and John C. The Weezer singer/guitarist just posted 2,655 demos on his website that are now for sale. Priced at $9 per era, it goes wayyyyy back to when he was a 6-year-old in 1976 through 2015. Why did he decide to release these now? Because it’s finals time! Dance Gavin Dance has announced a global streaming event, Tree City Sessions Volume 2, slated for broadcast at 7 p.m. ET on Dec. 19. The virtual event will feature the quintet performing a fan-voted setlist including tracks that have never been performed live before. Produced by Danny Wimmer Presents, the band will play from their hometown at the Sacramento Tower Bridge in California.
