Michael Sweet of openly Christian rockers STRYPER says that he has never in his life seen so much negativity from supposed “fans” based on his most recent comments regarding politics. Earlier in the week, Sweet defended his support of Donald Trump, saying that the real estate mogul “has done a lot of good things for America.” Despite the fact that he is twice divorced and has faced over two dozen accusations of sexual misconduct, Trump has continued to be white Christians’ preferred candidate for this year’s presidential election, with some insisting that the president is a Christian hero who is standing up for religious rights. On Friday (November 6), Sweet took to his social media to post the following message: “I have never in my life seen so mu...
During an appearance on a recent episode of Dean Delray‘s “Let There Be Talk” podcast, AC/DC drummer Phil Rudd confirmed that the seed for his return to the band was planted at the funeral of AC/DC rhythm guitarist Malcolm Young in 2017. Rudd, singer Brian Johnson and bassist Cliff Williams all attended the ceremony. At the time, the three musicians were considered former members of AC/DC, with Johnson and Williams both having left in 2016 for health reasons, while Rudd was sidelined in 2015 with various legal issues. “Angus and I had a good chat at Mal‘s funeral and caught up,” Rudd recalled (hear audio below). “[After I played on the ‘Rock Or Bust’ record] there was crazy shit going on, but since then, I’d got my shit together a...

Joel Corry and MNEK dropped one of the hottest tracks of the summer when they unveiled “Head & Heart.” The single has gone on to be reworked by David Guetta (under his Jack Back alias) and was even recently covered by Sam Smith during their BBC Radio 1 “Live Lounge” performance. Now, it’s time for Tiësto to take a swing at it, bringing his mainstage expertise to the intoxicating track. The original pop-centric stylings of the single remain intact, but the dance music legend brings a classic house edge to the production. The tempo is cranked up, creating the perfect setting to ignite an impromptu dance party. The catchy vocals reimagined with this beat will be stuck in your head all weekend long. Tiësto has been on a remix roll these la...

“Quarantine Diaries” is an editorial series in which EDM.com invites members of the music community to contribute guest posts about how they’re coping with the pandemic. The goal of the series is to provide a platform for these individuals to share their own experiences and perspectives and ultimately inspire anyone experiencing pitfalls contrived by the impact of COVID-19. The thoughts and viewpoints expressed are those of the author, PENNYWILD. “If you would’ve told me…” has quickly become the preface of every statement I’ve said aloud (to myself, primarily) throughout these past eight months. “If you would’ve told me we’d be in amidst a global pandemic while a gender reveal party caused acres of California to burn before our eyes …” “If you would’ve told me...
deadmau5 is known for his skills behind the decks and in the studio, but he is also an avid gambler. When you have a residency in Las Vegas and pull in the type of money he does, it only makes sense to have some fun at the casino. Due to COVID-19, however, we do not advise going in person, like this man. Instead, you can play from the comfort and safety of your home with the new deadmau5 Online Slot Game from Microgaming. Microgaming has officially partnered with deadmau5 and Eurostar Studios to launch their latest exclusive, branded title game. Of course, they had to incorporate his iconic cube into the game with a scatters feature alongside Rolling Reels, which can trigger 10, 20, or 25 free spins with up to a 10x multiplier. Also included in the 5×3 reel slot is a new fea...
Back in September, at the first presidential debate, Donald Trump said that “bad things happen in Philadelphia” — but residents of the Pennsylvania city proved him wrong when they took to the streets on Friday (Nov. 6) for a full blown dance party amid a tight election race. As votes in the key battleground state continue to get tallied and Joe Biden’s lead grows larger, a group of flag-waving Trump supporters at the Pennsylvania Convention Center were met with an even bigger progressive movement demanding that every American vote counts despite Trump’s attempts to call off democracy. Malone nods to their previous No. 1 Billboard Hot 100 hit “Psycho” in his verse, singing, “Met her in the club, they were playin’ ‘Psycho.'” In an Instagram post announcing the single, Ty explained why he brought Posty back into the studio with him. “You know, that magic that only that person could bring to a song. ‘Spicy’ needed Post’s frequency,” he wrote. “Plus, we were overdue for another hit after ‘Psycho.’ I’m just grateful that he lent his frequency to this song because we DEFINITELY got another one! Shout out to my bro Posty!” You Deserve to Make Money Even ...
