Kylie Minogue Gets the Party Started With ‘Disco’: Stream It Now

Speaking to fellow antipodean Zane Lowe on Apple Music earlier this week, Kylie shared her vision for a Disco tour, whenever that may be. “It’s a dreamscape right now, the idea of touring, if, when, how, if, when, why, what. But my vision I have, whether this would come to be or not, is usually the concert is… I’ve never performed in the Round,” she enthused. The Melbourne native imagines “the biggest disco ball ever made” dominating the ultimate superclub. “And I just would love the idea of a show where almost people don’t feel like they have to look at what’s going on on stage. We’re just all at a big nightclub.” The pop princess performed songs from it during last month’s global streaming event Kylie: Infinite Disco, co-directed by Kate Moross and Rob...

Jason Isbell Promises to Cut a Charity Covers Album If Biden Wins Georgia

Should Biden complete a come-from-behind win, Isbell tweeted, “I’m gonna make a charity covers album of my favorite Georgia songs- REM, Gladys Knight, Vic Chesnutt, Allmans, Cat Power, Precious Bryant, Now It’s Overhead, etc… And damn is that gonna be fun.” The Alabama native’s offer captured Twitter’s heart and got a lot of love from the artist community. Richard Marx responded, “F—ing love this.” Brandi Carlile chimed in and asked if they could do “Kid Fears” by the Indigo Girls and Jason would sing the Michael Stipe part. Don’t bet against that charity covers album coming to fruition. At 2.45am ET, president Trump’s lead over Biden in Georgia narrowed to just 665 votes, with a few thousand ballots yet to be counted. Isbell is known for his solo career, his work with The 400 ...

Tep No Enlists Iconic “Return of the Mack” Singer Mark Morrison for Sun-Kissed Single [Premiere]

“Return Of The Mack” is perhaps one of the best-known R&B anthems in history. However, Mark Morrison—the man responsible for the hit—is nowhere near finished after the success of his 1996 banger. He’s now teamed up with Toronto-based electronic talent Tep No for a new single that’s sure to get you in a summer mindset no matter the time of year. “My Life” is a deep house offering from Tep No, who has still maintained an air of anonymity since he splashed onto the scene in the mid 2010s. Acoustic guitar riffs form a simple, catchy melody that would become an earworm on its own. However, with the vocal stylings of a legend like Morrison, “My Life” is elevated into a bona fide 2020 anthem.  Tep No’s latest is a fine ...

Robin Schulz Drops Dreamy Remix of David Guetta and Sia’s “Let’s Love” [Premiere]

“Synthwave” may not be the first thing that comes to mind when it comes to EDM superstar David Guetta, but that’s the idea behind his latest single with pop superstar Sia. “Let’s Love” has a distinctively 80s feel, characteristic of the enormous surge in synthwave’s popularity as of late.  Now, prolific German producer Robin Schulz has been called to the plate for remix duties on “Let’s Love,” and his distinctive sound shines through with his vision of the track. Lending his unmistakable house sound to the single, Schulz maintains the nostalgic vibe of the original while pumping it full of dance floor grooves and plucked strings. Sia’s vocals remain as poignant as ever, generating a dreamy emotion within the s...

Over the summer, Common and John Legend paid tribute to late congressman John Lewis with a DNC rendition of the Oscar-winner “Glory”. Last month, Black Thought released his own excellent solo album Strea...

J Balvin (photo by Heather Kaplan), 24kGoldn, and Justin Bieber (images via Instagram) No sooner had 24kGoldn’s “Mood” summited the Billboard Hot 100 then did Ariana Grande’s “Positions” knock it back down. But in the year of our Lord 1 ALN (that’s After Lil Nas X) we know there’s nothing like a starry remix to buoy flagging sales. In the spirit of the many incarnations of “Old Town Road”, 19-year-old 24kGoldn has shared “Mood (Remix)” featuring two of the biggest superstars in the Americas, Justin Bieber and J Balvin. In its original form, “Mood” featured Puerto Rican singer iann dior. His voice is a littler higher than 24kGoldn, but they have similar tones, and on a first listen only a fan familiar with their music would be able to tell them apart. That’s no longer a problem with Bieber ...
