Kylie Minogue Announces New Album Disco, Shares “Say Something”: Stream
Kylie Minogue, photo by Darenote Ltd. 2020 Kylie Minogue is hitting the dance floor for her next studio album. Titled Disco, it’s due for arrival on November 6th. The upcoming effort follows up on Golden from 2018 and consists of a total of 16 new songs. One of those is lead single “Say Something”, produced by longtime associate Biff Stannard. As to be expected, the track works in a glittery ’70s strut, all while Minogue laments the distance — both physical and emotional — between herself and a loved one. “We’re a million miles apart in a thousand ways,” the Grammy winner sings. “Love is love it never ends, can we all be as one again?” Quite a timely tune given our current circumstances, right? To label Kygo as an EDM DJ is underselling him. The Norwegian artist does spin discs, and produce electronic music. And during his appearance Wednesday on The Tonight Show, he showcased his talents on a grand piano. Kygo (real name Kyrre Gørvell-Dahll) performed an iso-version of “Lose Somebody” with OneRepublic, a collaboration lifted from Golden Hour, the multi-talented European musician’s latest LP. The Nordic wonder is in the mix with another collaboration doing big things on sales charts around the globe. His remix of Tina Turner’s “What’s Love Got To Do With It” is on target to give the soul legend her first U.K. top 40 hit in more than a decade. Willie Nelson is looking happy and healthy, and just might be the youngest 87-year-old in the music business, based on his appearance Wednesday for Jimmy Kimmel Live. Flanked by his two sons Micah and Lukas, all on acoustic guitars, the country legend performed “I Never Cared for You,” a song he originally cut back in 1964. The Nelsons are one musical family. It’s another welcome comeback for the patriarch, who ended a tour early last August due to lung conditions robbing his breath. KLOUD and Wasiu Release Collaborative Verbal Protest Track “Matter”
