Kesha gave an emotional performance of her 2017 song “Rainbow” during the Global Pride 2020 virtual event. “I really do believe that you are the future,” Kesha said in a pre-recorded message from her home prior to the performance on Saturday (June 27). “You inspire me with your energy, your heart, your voices and the way you take action.” The 33-year-old singer — who released her fourth album, High Road, earlier this year — went on to urge viewers to vote in the upcoming election. “If you’re 18, you better be voting in November. Beyoncé Announces New Black Is King Visual Album
Beyoncé has announced a new visual album titled Black Is King. It will be her first proper solo album of original songs since 2016’s Lemonade. Shee wrote, directed, and executive-produced the project, which will be released via Disney+. Black Is King will include the song “Black Parade,” which she released on Juneteenth. Last year, Beyoncé curated the soundtrack The Lion King: The Gift, which was released in conjunction with the CGI version of The Lion King that she starred in. Variety says that Black Is King is “based on” the music from The Lion King: The Gift. The Chicago rapper, designer, and a lengthy list of other job descriptions teased a collaboration his Yeezy clothing line has on deck with The Gap. The “Power” rapper made another return to Twitter to announce he’s dropping a collection called YEEZY Gap that if all goes to plan will debut in 2021. After doubt was cast by conservative pundits over the noose, NASCAR officials shared images of the noose all which confirms accounts yet some are still dissatisfied. ESPN reports that NASCAR finalized its internal investigation of the event, this after the FBI determined in its findings that the noose’s placement was not a hate crime.
