Amazon MGM Studios and Mattel Set Official Release Date for ‘Masters of the Universe’ Live-Action Reboot

The much-anticipated Masters of the Universe live-action has officially moved from Netflix to Amazon. Together, Amazon MGM Studios and Mattel have also set an official release date for the upcoming film, but fans will have to wait until summer 2026.Directing the film adaptation is Travis Knight. Chris Butler is penning the script alongside David Callaham and Aaron and Adam Nee while Mattel's Robbie Brenner, Escape Artists' Todd Black, Jason Blumenthal and Steve Tisch are producing.
