The R&B artist also delivered a holiday EP, titled A Different Christmas, in November of last year, with features from Justin Bieber, Kiana Ledé and more. “Outside” is the polar opposite of what everyone is used to hearing from me,” Tiller said in a statement. “Normally we would release a song intended to put people deep in their feelings, but this song is ANTI-FEELS.” The track begins a new musical era for Tiller, one that entails a new album filled with the “unexpected,” according to a n...

Ahead of their new project CYBERKISS*, BLACKSTARKIDS have shared “CYBERKISS 2 U*,” a new track featuring their Dirty Hit labelmate beabadoobee. Listen to the single below. Where last month’s “SEX APPEAL” was all swaggering hip-hop, “CYBERKISS 2 U*” leans more into hyperpop, with BLACKSTARKIDS and beabadoobee’s vocals tuned up chipmunk style over a saccharine electronic melody. “Takes me back, when you said I can make you better,” they sing. “You make me feel good, I hope I feel this way forever.” “We were inspired by electronic and colorful music from our childhood like Daft Punk and Jamiroquai,” BLACKSTARKIDS said in a statement about the track. “Also New York culture in general, the scene that kids have going on down there played a big role in how we wanted our music to sound. Worki...
Post Malone, who might’ve been the world’s greatest grunge singer if he hadn’t first become a stinking rich pop star, has shared another portal to that alternate reality. His social media accounts unveiled a clip of him covering Pearl Jam’s version of “Last Kiss,” itself a cover of Wayne Cochran’s 1961 original. The acoustic set took place earlier this year in Rome, Italy, and the singer promises that there’s a “full show coming soon.” As he did earlier this year when covering “Better Man” on The Howard Stern Show, Posty tries to Vedder himself, aping some of the Pearl Jam frontman’s mannerisms including the way he pronounces ‘r’ in “world.” Check out the 23-second clip below. Post Malone has plenty of dates remaining on his North American tour, and next year he’ll hit up Ne...

Queen Elizabeth II died today at Balmoral Castle, her estate in Scotland, after a 70-year reign. Her family gathered to her side after doctors announced that they were “concerned” about her health. She was 96. As the head of the royal family with a decades-long tenure in power, Elizabeth was an omnipresent figure within popular culture. In addition to the many portrayals of her in television and film, she was the inspiration for the Smiths’ The Queen is Dead, the Sex Pistols’ “God Save the Queen,” the Stone Roses’ “Elizabeth My Dear,” and so much music. Kang Hyo-won, Yoon Seok-jun (aka Yenzo Loon) and Kim Shin-gyu are hardly marquee names in the music business, but they accounted for three of its five largest paydays in 2021, according to Billboard Pro‘s inaugural Executive Money Makers ranking — a breakdown of executive compensation and stock ownership at publicly traded companies. Stock options are often used to incentivize and reward employees when a company is privately held. In a statement to Bil...
