Larry Heard and Robert Owens Win Song Rights Battle Against Trax
Robert Owens and Larry Heard (aka Mr. Fingers), the foundational house producers who played in Fingers Inc. with Ron Wilson, have regained their song rights from Trax after suing the house label in 2020, The Guardian reports. The pair, who say they never received royalties for some of their biggest tracks, such as Mr. Fingers’ “Can You Feel It,” were unable to claim damages as the long-embattled label could not afford to pay them. Instead, “the parties amicably resolved their disputes,” as Heard and Owens’ lawyer Robert S. REAPER‘s new remix album has more artists than many festival lineups. The enigmatic producer today unveiled an enormous collection of reworks of music from his debut album, DISRUPTOR, which dropped back in May. Microsoft Responds to Playstation 5 Price Raises, Claiming Xbox Will Not Follow Suit
Just yesterday, Microsoft announced that it would be increasing the prices of the Playstation 5 across various regions outside of the U.S. While Sony has announced the price increases in various markets across a number of Asian countries as well as in the U.K., Europe, Canada and Mexico, Microsoft wants to ensure their gamers that the same will not happen for the Xbox X/S Series consoles. Window Central has obtained a statement from a Microsoft spokesperson who has confrimed that Xbox consoles will not be seeing a price change anytime soon. The spokesperson said, “We are constantly evaluating our business to offer our fans great gaming options.
