First Animated Avatar Film to Center on Aang, the Last Airbender Himself
Last month, it was announced that three animated Avatar films were in the works at Nickelodeon and Paramount, and at San Diego Comic-Con, we got some information about the first installment, which will focus on Aang, the OG Last Airbender. Janet Varney, who voiced Korra in the Last Airbender spinoff The Legend of Korra, announced the news in a video played at Comic-Con on July 22nd. “There have been a lot of rumors floating around, a lot of speculation and a lot of excitement. I feel it too. Swedish House Mafia Cancel Multiple Tour Dates Due to Poor Ticket Sales
Swedish House Mafia’s comeback doesn’t seem to be going as well as planned. As Billboard reports, the house music trio has been forced to cancel five moreshows on their “Paradise Again Tour” due to poor ticket sales. Swedish House Mafia’s canceled shows include a July 31st show at the Amway Center in Orlando and an August 2nd stop at Madison Square Garden in New York, as well as August 9th at TD Garden in Boston, August 11th at Verizon Arena in Washington, D.C., and August 17th at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit. The tour’s kickoff show in Miami on July 29th and a second date at Madison Square Garden on August 3rd are still set to occur. U2 Will Be First Group to Perform at Las Vegas’ MSG Sphere: Report
U2 will reportedly be the first group to perform at the MSG Sphere in Las Vegas. According to Billboard, Bono and company are planning a multi-show residency as part of the grand opening of the $1.8 billion venue next year. The high-tech arena is being built by Madison Square Garden Entertainment chairman James Dolan near the Venetian off the Las Vegas Strip, and as the name suggests, is shaped like a sphere.
