ODESZA’s “The Last Goodbye” Album Is a Deeply Personal Mosaic of Their Memories: Listen

They say you can’t connect the dots looking forward—you can only connect them looking backwards. And in the case of ODESZA‘s long-awaited fourth album, The Last Goodbye, memories are the key. There’s a reason why longtime fans find solace in ODESZA’s music. It has long functioned as a nostalgia machine which metaphysically makes us recall the last vestiges of the things that made us most happy. But what really makes ODESZA’s timeless music so special is its profound ability to nestle into the blueprints of our lives, tethering itself to the charts that dictate our growth. And in doing so, ODESZA and their fans mature in lockstep, like family members. The Last Goodbye is a testament to that familial bond. For far too long, touring musicians—especially DJs—...

Peep The Trailer For HBO’s ‘Game of Thrones: House of the Dragon’

HipHopWired Featured Video Source: Ollie Upton / HBO The official trailer for HBO’s Game of Thrones prequel, House of the Dragon has dropped and we must say, we’re not too impressed (no shots). Yes, it’s cool to see dragons flying around again during a time when light bulbs would be considered sorcery, but the massive amount of blonde people calling shots is lowkey triggering for the culture. Taking place 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones, the new House of the Dragon series will showcase the rule of the dragon-wielding Targaryens and the fallout that came from Viserys’ line of succession. Related Stories In the trailer we get a glimpse of the power struggle that seems to be engulfing the Targaryens (everyone wants to sit on that Iron Throne) and we even get a peak at the ...
