Beyoncé Reveals Artwork for New Album Renaissance
Creating this album allowed me a place to dream and to find escape during a scary time for the world. It allowed me to feel free and adventurous in a time when little else was moving. My intention was to create a safe place, a place without judgment. A place to be free of perfectionism and overthinking. A place to scream, release, feel freedom. It was a beautiful journey of exploration. I hope you find joy in this music. I hope it inspires you to release the wiggle. Ha! And to feel as unique, strong, and sexy as you are.
Usher Performs “Tiny Desk Concert” for NPR
Usher has given a performance for NPR’s “Tiny Desk Concert” series. Joined by his band, Usher sang “You Make Me Wanna…,” “Confessions, Pt. II,” and more. The band featured vocalists Eric Bellinger and Vedo, bassist, Dmitry Gorodetsky, trombonist Lemar Guillary, trumpeter Brandyn Phllips, saxophonist Jay Flat, keyboardist Darek Cobbs, guitarist Erick Walls, and drummer Ryan Carr. The list, which was shared on Wednesday, arrives five years after Scottish DJ dropped Vol. 1 in 2017 to critical success.
