Those who’ve ordered the Steam Deck but have yet to receive them may not have to wait much longer: Valve has now announced that it’s ramping up production and deliveries for the highly-anticipated handheld device. Taking to Twitter, the gaming company says that it has just sent out the last batch of Q2 emails and will be moving on to Q3 reservations at the end of June. “Production has picked up,” Valve celebrates, “and after today we’ll be shipping more than double the number of Steam Decks every week!” Of course, deliveries will only be made to those who have already registered for one, and those that reserve a Steam Deck now will have to wait a little longer for their device to arrive, but it’s still good news for everyone who wants one, especially when the global chip shortage has led t...

Yungblud and Fans Get Drenched and Shut Down by Police in New Video

Yungblud has unveiled his third single of 2022, “Don’t Feel Like Feeling Sad Today,” alongside a fan-featuring video filmed on London’s Southbank last week (June 20). SPIN‘s April cover star invited willing fans to make a splash in the clip (see NME‘s report about what went down). Before police put a stop to it, fans were drenched with water pistols while Yungblud performed “Don’t Feel Like Feeling Sad Today” on a flatbed truck. The near-riot was eventually shut down for what police deemed overcrowding. [embedded content][embedded content] “My manager asked me, ‘What can we do, that no one else does?’” Yungblud says of the video in a statement. “And the concept came to us. All over the world I meet my fans in the streets, to feel a connection … Put it this way — the fucking police al...

Hocus Pocus 2 Resurrects The Sanderson Sisters For A New Generation

The Sanderson sisters are back for revenge! A spooky teaser trailer for Hocus Pocus 2 was summoned on Tuesday (June 28) almost three decades since the first film’s release in 1993. The film is set 29 years after the famed witches’ supposed deaths. The trailer introduces Cassie (Lilia Buckingham), who wishes “happy birthday” to her friend Becca (Whitney Peak) and asks about her plans. “Birthday ritual, scary movie marathon, same as every year,” she responds. Ominous foreshadowing, perhaps? Later, Becca and another friend, Izzy (Belissa Escobedo), go to the local Olde Salem Magic Shoppe, where a black cat can be seen hopping in front of a crystal ball. The shopkeeper (Sam Richardson) mentions a legend that a witch gains powers on her 16th birthday. At night, the duo descend into the woods to...

GOP Senator Implies He Wants To Bring Back Segregation In Response To Roe V. Wade Decision

HipHopWired Featured Video Source: Chip Somodevilla / Getty White conservatives stay telling on themselves on Twitter—and then pretending the racist sh*t they said wasn’t racist. Former President Barack Obama posted a simple tweet joining most Americans in condemning the U.S. Supreme Court decision to overturn Roe v Wade, which ends constitutionally protected abortion rights. “Today, the Supreme Court not only reversed nearly 50 years of precedent, it relegated the most intensely personal decision someone can make to the whims of politicians and ideologues—attacking the essential freedoms of millions of Americans,” Obama wrote. Related Stories In response, Texas Senator John Cornyn (R) shared Obama’s post with a caption that naturally led people to believe this man wanted to bring back seg...

Woody Allen Makes Fans Happy for First Time in Years, Tells Alec Baldwin He Might Retire

Filmmaker and accused child molester Woody Allen has dropped his first true crowd-pleaser in years, unveiling in a bonkers interview with Alec Baldwin that he may soon retire. “I’ll probably make at least one more movie,” the 86-year-old told Baldwin on Instagram Live June 28th. “A lot of the thrill is gone. When I used to do a film it’d go into a movie house all across the country. Now you do a movie and you get a couple weeks in a movie house. Maybe six weeks or four weeks and then it goes right to streaming or pay-per-view… It’s not the same… It’s not as enjoyable to me.” Allen has known Baldwin for decades, and directed the actor in 1990’s Alice, 2012’s To Rome with Love, and 2013’s Blue Jasmine. He added, “I don’t get the same fun doing a movie and putting it in a ...

Taking place in September and October, the jaunt includes dates in cities like Manchester, Birmingham, London, and Brighton. “No rules / regulations / restrictions will be in place for these concerts – everyone is welcome,” Morrissey pointedly wrote in a post announcing the tour.
