Speaking to Entertainment Tonight in a recent interview, the Star Wars lead says that while Obi-Wan Kenobi was set out to be a limited series, she’s open to making season two of the show provided there’s strong demand from fans. “But I think if there’s huge engagement and people really want more Obi-Wan, we’ll certainly give that consideration because the fans, they speak to us,” Kennedy explained. “And if we feel like, ‘OK, there’s a real reason to do this; it’s answering the why then,’ then we’ll do it. But we’ll see.” If Disney does decide to give a s...
IGN has shared an exclusive first look at the Orcs from Prime Video‘s upcoming The Lord of the Rings series, The Rings of Power. The Orcs, which are essential in The Lord of the Rings universe, capture the essence of what audiences are used to in the films but are also presented a little differently due to the show’s timing; The Rings of Power take place in the Second Age, shortly after their species was almost extinct due to the War of Wrath in the First Age. Jamie Wilson, who leads the show’s prosthetic department, told IGN that showrunners J.D. Payne and Patrick McKay felt the importance to treat the Orcs “as their own culture and explore their world on its own two legs in its own right.” “We spent a lot of time talking about what it would mean to be an Orc in the Second Age,” added exe...
When the most recent Pretty Reckless album was released in 2021, we went deep with singer/bandleader Taylor Momsen. Momsen sang “Rusty Cage,” “Drawing Flies” and “Loud Love” with the surviving Soundgarden members at the Cornell tribute show I Am the Highway at the Forum in Los Angeles. Recently, put Momsen, Thayil, and Cameron together, all before the release of the duo’s new project, 3rd Secret, released its debut album. And of course, before Momsen and Cameron went out on tour with The Pretty Reckless...

Copyrights are very expensive and timely to enforce. The United States established the Copyright Claims Board (CCB), which allows copyright owners to file disputes and resolve issues more efficiently and avoid an expensive federal court case. Comprising three members who are well-versed in copyright law, the CCB was developed from the Copyright Alternative in Small-Claims Enforcement (CASE) Act of 2020. Damages can’t exceed $30,000, which seems like a lot. If you use an attorney you can get an additional $5,000 and $2,500 if you don’t. But if you’re a musician with work that gets stolen from someone whose track ultimately goes Platinum, you could likely sue for much more in damages. “Copyrights [are] an issue for federal courts only—it’s not a state ...
