Lightyear has failed to live up to its box office expectation on its opening weekend. Lightyear was projected to reach $70 million USD in its opening weekend but earned an underwhelming $51 million, behind Jurassic World Dominion’s $58 million USD. What questioned most was that Lightyear received decent critics; therefore, it is unclear why the film sees such a disappointing opening weekend box office numbers. Set images of the upcoming Mad Max: Fury Road prequel Furiosa have now surfaced, offering fans of the franchise a first look at what’s to come. The open beta release date for Activision and Infinity Ward’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II has reportedly leaked. According to a new report from Comicbook, Amazon mistakenly listed the Xbox Series X version of the upcoming game and included a description that stated if players pre-ordered the title by August 15, they would receive an early-access code for the open beta on that very date. “Pre-order Modern Warfare II for any platform by August 15th, 2022 to unlock early access to the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Open Beta. Creators Behind ‘Destiny 2’ Cheats Ordered to Pay $13.5 Million USD in Settlement With Bungie
A number of organizations responsible for creating cheats for Destiny 2 have now come to a legal settlement with Bungie costing them more than $13 million USD. The lawsuit was originally brought by the video game developer against Veterancheats, LaviCheats and Elite Boss Tech, which all created and hosted domains for cheats used in Destiny 2, but before it went to court, the organizations managed to come to an agreement, settling the case for a staggering $13.5 million USD. The sum roughly equates to $2,000 USD per violation of Bungie’s copyright under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, multiplied by 6,765 unique downloads through those servers. After subtly announcing that a new album was on the way last week by changing the bio on her social media platforms, Beyoncé has done the same thing today to share that a new song is on the way. At midnight EST/9 pm PST, Beyoncé will release “Break My Soul,’ the first single from her upcoming album Renaissance. That album is out on July 29. In the bio, it simply states: “6.
