Trouble, Atlanta Rapper, Shot Dead at 34
Atlanta rapper Trouble, also known as Skoob, has died. The Rockdale County Sheriff’s Office confirmed to WSB-TV Atlanta that Orr was shot early Sunday morning at an apartment complex in Conyers, Georgia. He was 34 years old. His label Def Jam confirmed the news of his death in an Instagram post earlier today (June 5). “Our thoughts and prayers are with the children, loved ones, and fans of Trouble,” Def Jam wrote. “A true voice for his city and an inspiration to the community he proudly represented. RIP Scoob.” Trouble was born Mariel Semonte Orr in Atlanta on November 4, 1987. He grew up in the East Atlanta neighborhood of Edgewood, and began rapping at the age of 14, inspired by legends like Tupac and DMX. Capcom Releases New Trailer for ‘Street Fighter 6’
Capcom has released a new trailer for Street Fighter 6. The new trailer, which was unveiled during the 2022 Sony State of Play event, is the first detailed look at the forthcoming game. Coming 6 years after the previous Street Fighter installment, the forthcoming edition is set to include a real-time commentary feature, which is set to include subtitles in 13 languages. Additionally, the game has been updated with a new Drive system with a resource gauge that allows players to utilize different techniques. Alongside this feature, the game will include a modern control scheme that makes special moves easier to process. Red Hot Chili Peppers Embark on First Tour With John Frusciante in 15 Years
Red Hot Chili Peppers kicked off their Unlimited Love world tour last night at Estadio Olímpico de la Cartuja in Seville, Spain. Though the band played some warm up gigs in Los Angeles back in April (which included an assist from George Clinton), the concert marked the first stadium show with guitarist John Frusciante in 15 years. The 18-song set featured a nice mix of songs off the new album and classic hits like “Scar Tissue,” “Under the Bridge,” “Soul to Squeeze,” “Can’t Stop,” and “By the Way,” but of course the biggest highlight was seeing Frusciante tear up the stage with his RHCP bandmates for the first time in a long time.
