While fans patiently wait for word on the arrival of critically acclaimed filmmaker Quentin Tarantino‘s next and final film project, it appears that they will just have to wait a while longer. Tarantino has announced the release of another project, his second novel titled Cinema Speculation. Though related to films, Cinema Speculation sees Tarantino relaunch into the literary world with a nonfiction entry. The film history book is expected to provide readers with full details regarding the theory and criticism of cinema. The book will also touch on some personal history of the filmmaker in the 400 pages long novel. Prior to Cinema Speculation, Tarantino released his Once Upon a Time in Hollywood novel in 2021. Megadeth Name James LoMenzo as New Permanent Bassist

Megadeth have officially named James LoMenzo as their new permanent bassist. The veteran metal musician had already joined the legendary thrash band’s touring lineup as of last year, and now he can call himself a full-fledged member. LoMenzo essentially replaces founding bassist David Ellefson, who was ousted from Megadeth last year after an embarrassing online sexual encounter with a young woman. Testament’s Steve DiGiorgio was called in to re-record bass parts on the band’s upcoming album, The Sick, The Dying and The Dead, but LoMenzo was recruited to join the band on their co-headlining “Metal Tour of the Year” with Lamb of God, which just completed its second leg. This marks LoMenzo’s second stint with Megadeth, after being a member from 2006 through 2010. He played on the albums Unite...

Somebody Vandalized The Mona Lisa By Smearing It With Cake. Weird, Right?

HipHopWired Featured Video Source: Xinhua News Agency / Getty There are a lot of activists out there who do not really know how to do activism right—and one of those activists just vandalized Leonardo da Vinci’s iconic painting, the Mona Lisa. Well—kinda.  According to Raw Story, a man who was wearing at the Louvre Museum in Paris woman’s wig jumped out of a wheelchair and smeared cake all over the bulletproof glass case that covered the painting. So the man didn’t actually do any damage to it, which made his display of activism pretty pointless. Like—all he did was cause some poor custodian to have to clean cake off of the glass. Also, what exactly was this man protesting? Well, apparently, the man was declaring that artists should focus more on the planet. Still confused? Well, of c...
