‘Dragon Ball Super’ Sequel Film Will Screen in Theaters Worldwide This Summer

The second film in the animated Dragon Ball Super film franchise is slated to grace theaters this summer. Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures Entertainment will distribute Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero across theaters globally, offering viewings of the film in its original Japanese audio with subtitles, as well as an English dubbed version. The screenings will mark the first time a Crunchyroll film has received a worldwide theatrical debut. Viewers in “all continents, including North America, Latin America, Europe, Australia/New Zealand, Africa, the Middle East, and Asia (excluding Japan)” will be able to see Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero in theaters sometime this summer, according to Crunchyroll’s announcement. Young Thug Facing Seven Additional Felony Charges After Guns and Drugs Found in Home Raid

After being arrested on gang activity and racketeering charges in Atlanta earlier this week, Young Thug (born Jeffery Lamar Williams) is facing even more legal trouble. A search of Fulton County jail records has revealed seven more felony charges stemming from guns and drugs that were found in a police raid of his home in the Buckhead area of Atlanta. Specifically, the charges include Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute; Possession of a Schedule III, Iv or V Controlled Substance with Intent to Distribute; Possession of Firearm During Commission of a Felony; and Possession of Sawed-Off Shotgun, Sawed-Off Rifle, Machine Gun, dangerous Weapon, or Silencer. Kendrick Lamar Reveals Artwork for New Album Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers

Kendrick Lamar has revealed the artwork for his new album, Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers. Photographed by Renell Medrano, the cover depicts Kendrick, with a crown of thorns and a gun tucked into his waistband, embracing a child, while a woman (who appears to be his wife Lauren London) is sitting on a nearby bed nursing another a baby. R.I.P. Trevor Strnad, The Black Dahlia Murder Frontman Dead at 41

Trevor Strnad, frontman for The Black Dahlia Murder, has died at age 41. While a cause of death was not given, the band shared the number for the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline in announcing his passing on its social sites. Strnad founded the melodic death metal group in 2001 in Michigan, and remained its frontman until his passing. Over the course of 20 years, the band gained a large following and earned acclaim in metal circles with nine studio albums. Their most recent full-length release was 2020’s Verminous. NJ Supreme Court Orders Parole For Former Black Panther Sundiata Acoli

The Supreme Court of New Jersey ordered parole for Sundiata Acoli, now 85 years of age. Gothamist reports that the state’s highest court made the decision via a 3-2 ruling on Tuesday (May 10).
