Just days after Kanye West and Drake appeared to make amends at the Toronto rapper’s mansion, Larry Hoover Jr. has confirmed that both will place their differences asides to appear at a benefit concert. The concert is expected to help free Hoover Jr.’s father. Earlier this month, Kanye and J. Prince appeared in a video together where Ye reflected on his past issues with Drake and expressed that he wanted to end the feud. In a recent interview on The Murder Master Music Show, Hoover Jr. himself confirmed that the benefit concert for his father is set to go down next month. More Than 1,000 Activision Blizzard Employees Are Petitioning for CEO Bobby Kotick’s Removal

A group of more than 1,000 employees at Activision Blizzard has now signed a petition asking the developer’s CEO Bobby Kotick to step down. According to the petition — which includes both direct staff and contractors of the company — employees say they “no longer have confidence in the leadership of Bobby Kotick as the CEO of Activision Blizzard. The information that has come to light about his behaviors and practices in the running of our companies runs counter to the culture and integrity we require of our leadership — and directly conflicts with the initiatives started by our peers.” Since the publication of the petition, the company’s employee advocacy group A Better ABK has also launched a separate petition for fans of the company to show their support in removing Kotick. Man Shot at Young Dolph Memorial

A shot rang out in Memphis Thursday afternoon as mourners gathered at a memorial to slain rapper Young Dolph. As ABC24 reports, one man was wounded and three people have been detained for questioning. Young Dolph, born Adolph Robert Thornton Jr., was murdered on Wednesday inside of Makeba’s Cookies. Since then, his fans have turned the bakery’s boarded-up windows into a graffitied monument. David Bowie Film Coming from Director Brett Morgen

Brett Morgen, director of immersive, collage-like documentaries including Kurt Cobain: Montage of Heck and Jane, is working on a movie about David Bowie based on thousands of hours of unseen concert footage of the late musician. While a lot of information about the project remains under wraps (no titles or release dates yet), Variety quotes a source who describes the film as “neither documentary nor biography, but an immersive cinematic experience.” This makes sense, given Morgen’s history: his Cobain film utilized home footage and animations of the musician’s own art, which proved much more compelling than the talking heads featured.
