Jacob Elordi is reportedly in negotiations for Ridley Scott's upcoming post-apocalyptic thriller The Dog Stars. After news of Paul Mescal reuniting with Scott for another film following Gladiator II, it seems like there is a scheduling issue that will now see Mescal replaced by Elordi.Originally, Mescal was slated to star in the thriller that is about a catastrophic flu virus that ends up wiping out nearly all of humanity. But due to his involvement in Sam Mendes' Beatles anthology, Mescal has to pull out of Scott's film.
